IF its really Ekuinas, then their playing a big round of corporate game..buy-sell-buy back. i thots remain..i think a bigger corporate exercise is on the cards involving TGOFF, ICON as well as the 2 subs under ICON...

but to cut long story short..Kenanga Investment Bank has the mandate for TGOFF's private placement and capital raising exercise..CMS Opus adik-abang with CMS Capital. CMS Capital Sdn Bhd is the single largest shareholder in financial services holding company, K&N Kenanga Holdings Berhad, whose principal subsidiaries include Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad.

So with Ekuinas appointing CMS Opus as a PE, my theory is the pp is probably for Ekuinas...bro ameen007, y my theory is as such? please refer to my postings.

i sound like a broken record, but i still think the pp is for Ekuinas..and subsequently paving the way for their corporate move..

the 1st four do hv investments in O&G but what drew my attention was one of the PE...CMS Opus..

Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (Ekuinas) has picked five local private equity (PE) firms under its Outsourced Programme (OP) to undertake investments from a combined RM373m funds provided by it and other private investors. The five firms have identified their target companies and a few will start investing between RM10m and RM30m by the end of the year, Ekuinas chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad said after making an announcement on the five PE firms and launching OP Tranche 2, here, yesterday.

The PE companies are Tael Partners, RM Capital Partners, Tuas Capital Partners and CMS Opus Private Equity. Another firm, Asiasons, has been selected as the replacement manager for the OP Tranche 1 launched earlier. (BT)
