In current property market I think Tropicana better sell more of their assets(NTA > RM2) to make profit and reduce gearings. Profit made is higher than selling houses.

Prima 9 was bought at RM 72.89 million. Assuming interest rate 4.25% to purchase interest expenses alone cost RM 3.1 million to AmFirst bottomline.

Dear AmFirst comrades vacant Prima 9 remain a sore if not mistaken above 1 year already. Why so difficult to find buyer? Is the selling price too high; can lower it? Or can ask Prima 10 tenants shift to Prima 9 and sell Prima 10 instead like what they did on AGLC? Any healthy discussion is most welcome.

i3 dividend data show BAT dividend is lowest in 3 years. When something is low has room to increase because usual is 68-78 sen.

I just checked Dutch Lady dividend. Yearly twice of RM 1.10 each so total RM 2.20 a year like BAT 1 qtr 55sen but 4 times a year. Why share price RM 8 more?

Pity no one answer you. Can I answer on behalf? 8% is on par value which is 50 sen so dividend is 4 sen. Dividend yield is only 1.01%. Many counters can give better dividend than Can-One 4 sen. Eg Media, MediaC, Penergy, Tropicana, etc.

I noticed Parkson shares buy back quantity increase each time price get lower indicate prudent management. At lower price Parkson does not need to spend as much money compare to buy back at higher price.

Shares buy back reach 3% yesterday. If Parkson declare share dividend 3% anytime now those who have 10,000 Parkson shares you can get additional 300 shares as dividend. Of course shares buy back won't stop yesterday.

Close factory in M'sia serve few purposes:

Although the company does not have a dividend policy, it said it intended to pay out about 50% to 70% of profits in the longer run but added that for FY16, it would seek to pay out 70% of profits.
