If found oil - Anyone knows what would be the oil discovery? How many barrels of oil were they drilling for?

Sklyte - If you read the last minute surge on Thursday and it closed at it's high, it is good news. I have gone though the closing and chart of Thursday. It only spiked up last minute and so did Rex.

So - my read is that they could possible have strike oil this time as the only tangible event ongoing during this long holidays was the drilling of Well # 2 in Oman. Again, this is not conclusive but my read what I see happened on Thursday and what could be the possible reason REX is suspended right after the long holidays. Both counters did not spike up suddenly without any reason.

This was purely technical to support the CNY.

I am also hearing yesterday during dinner that very strong rumours Anwars might have a an uphill task winning this time. Tide is against him. Insteresting how BN will place their candidate this time.

This will also pave the way how Puncak will move in the near future. If BN were to win, Puncak will surely benefit big time.

I have invested at 1.50 and believe this counter could breach RM1.80 or even RM2 in the near future. Just have to wait and wave.

Firstly have to monitor the stock movement against projects ongoing with PETRONAS.

Stockman - Maybe you are right. With all the turmoil developing in Selangor, Puncak could run away as the eventual winner.

Timing is right. Collect and keep.

Been following this counter - believe momentum is building. Should see support at this levels for upward movement.

Market need to stabilize before we see movement though.

I read this blog with astonishment...people getting emotionally entangled. In the real world the idea is to fend for your own self and protect yourself. You know who you are dealing with and who your enemy or foe is. Obviously your friends you pretty much know better.

In here - you are in a virtual world and you are chatting with strangers which you have no clue who they are.. no feel whatsoever their background, social standing, financial position, credentials. So why take it so personally.

Time to move on, take it like man. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. No point sulking.

By the way - Isn't Hibiscus and E & P company? How do you value and E & P company? The answer is you can't....it all depends on success..

Here are possible scenarios:

1. What is strike Oil in Oman - Drill 2 - What will the counter be worth?
2. What if strike Oil in Drill 3 and 4 in Norway - What will counter be worth end of year 2014
3. What is potential worth of counter carried forward based on all the concession they already owned that they can now farm out easily now that other oil majors will know that oil discoveries are real
4. Oil already there in Australia

So with all those dominos out there, what are your ruling out?

Obviously - if they don't strike oil is another matter...but you guys have to factor that too in the equation. This is a risk reward game.

If you look at it now, the scale is titled in favor of Hibiscus moving forward favorably as they have strong backing from Norway government as their biggest investor. Now who can beat that?
