A ) Referred to FY21 Annual Report :
The turnaround to Profitability was mainly from the share of profit in the Vietnam joint venture which amounted to RM 140.7 million in FYE2021 as compared to RM3.8 million in the previous year .
B ) Referred to FY22 Annual Report :
The increase in Profitability arose from the Higher share of Profit from the Vietnam joint venture that rose by 11 % to RM 156.2 million.
And Dividend RM 70.0 million.
C ) Referred to 1st QR ended March 2023 :
Share of Profit in Joint Venture is RM 28,326,000 compared to March 2022 RM 33,936,000.
( Note : from Key Matters Discussed, the reduced Share of Profit is due to increased interest expenses .

JAKS RESOURCES SPEARHEAD CONSORTIUM UNDER CGPP
As a solar power producer for 29.99 MWac quota allocation
PETALING JAYA, 9 AUGUST 2023 –
JAKS Resources Berhad (“JAKS” or the “Group”), a construction and power utilities company specialising in water and other infrastructure projects and energy development, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary JAKS Solar Power Sdn. Bhd. via a consortium together with its partners, Ann Joo Green Energy Sdn. Bhd. and Fabulous Sunview Sdn. Bhd. have been selected as successful solar power producer with a capacity of 29.99MW under the Corporate Green Power Programme (“CGPP”).
As announced by the Energy Commission on 7 August 2023, only 22 out of the 71 applicants thus far have been successfully selected as solar power producers under the CGPP and 236.58MW out of the total 800MW allocation remains to be allocated.
JAKS chief executive officer Andy Ang Lam Poah said, “We are elated that JAKS has been appointed as one of the solar power producers alongside our consortium partners. We are optimistic of the success and execution of the project in view of the synergistic experience and capabilities which this consortium can provide. The awarded project aligns with our long-term goals in expanding our renewable energy portfolio whilst contributing positively to the business growth in the near future
