（吉隆坡28日訊）受惠於訂單增加及產品組合改善，威城（VS，6963，主板工業產品組）截至2016年1月31日止第二季淨利按年成長50.3%至2千750萬令吉，使上半年淨利增至8千767萬7千令吉，按年揚63.82%。
第二季營業額則成長7.67%至5億零111萬3千令吉，上半年營業額報11億1千357萬8千令吉，成長10.26%。
派息0.8仙
該公司還建議派每股0.8仙單層中期股息，4月27日除權。
威城董事經理顏森炎透過文告說，大馬業務銷售表現在第二季稍微下滑至3億1千170萬令吉，但仍是最大營業額來源，中國和印尼銷售則分別取得28%和31.3%增長。
“集團繼續強化其在電子製造服務（EMS）市場的檔案，透過提昇價值鏈來迎合國際消費品牌的嚴厲要求，我們也成功滿足了客戶業務增長帶來的大量生產訂單。”
有鑑於此，顏森炎對下半年表現深具信心，相信業績可進一步走強.
