How to explain this kind of stock by technical analysis? Until now only 10,100 shares done whereas yesterday was 788,000 and Friday was 2,055,100 shares done.

It may go up again after correction, BUT it must also be supported by fundamental. Looking at the result and the general rubber wood furniture markets, I am afraid there may not be any more encouraging factors to spur up the price

True, but half true again. Warrant holders can have the bonus shares only on 2 conditions :
1) Tender the warrant and pay the strike price $1.00 per share, AND
2) If the Entitlement Date of the bonus share falls before you have done (1) above.

That good news is stock-positive for mother but not the son
Ans : The only answer to this news is declare dividend because Warrant is not entitled to dividend.
To me, dividend is only bonus to my investment strategy. I prefer capital gain rather than a dividend.
Thank you
Smart Ooi Teik Bee, but not fully smart. What about Bonus Issue?
Warrant holders are NOT entitled to bonus issue as well

Hevea-WB looks vulnerable because of the sudden diminishing volume from yesterday 3m units. Perhaps this fried rice really cannot eat one

If it is true a dividend is forthcoming, all those who are wary because of the high debt level will jump in to buy and chase up the price.

Hevea declaring dividend? That is long time ago they paid a dividend. The fact that Hevea is paying a dividend now would simply mean that they have finally managed to put the old problem of debts behind them. It is not unreasonable given the way they pay down the debt by almost $25m every year since 2009. Kudos the management of Hevea!

Do not trade this stock. Today's big volume is because of interna churning to transfer shares. Buy now and you will get caught for a long long time.

With no concrete clues surfacing in the search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, a daily has reported a theory that Malaysian authorities may know where the plane is but are withholding information to protect its satellite capabilities, cover up mistakes or avoid tipping off interested parties.
The theory is one of several contained in a Washington Post article as search for the missing Boeing 777-200ER (9M-MRO) and the 239 people on board enters the 13th day.
"We’re dealing with military organisations, and they don’t want to tell you, and especially they don’t want to tell you if it looks like they really screwed up," Hans Weber, a San Diego-based aviation consultant, was quoted as saying in the article.
"The military doesn’t want to look bad in its own country. I think there is a lot of incentive for the militaries there to not come clean.
However, the article said there is no evidence that anyone knows where the plane is, while pressure is building up from grieving families of the passengers and crew on board for an answer. – March 20, 2014.

Perhaps will only chase once volume exceeds 5m a day and the price is >0.55
2014-03-19 10:44 | Report Abuse
Is this not typical of an arrogant and deceitful government? Many overseas countries have been commenting about the poor response to the entire MH370 search process.
The lack of intelligent comment and disjointed handling is typical of a dictatorial government which have ruled uninterrupted for 50 years. In such situations, they are not used to be answerable to anyone except themselves.
Through the international dimension of this tragedy, the shortcomings of their rule are being exposed under the full glare of the global media and I'm afraid they are found wanting.

It looks like the country has been constantly evolving from being Bolehland to Bomohland to Slumberland to Blunderland. What next?
Sympathy for the MH370 tragedy has given way to anger at the officials who are so inept in managing the crisis: far too many flip-flops, U-turns and about-turns.
Had all this happened in Japan, the officials would have committed ‘harakiri’ by now.

Hi ulutrader, among the pack, Latitud is indisputably the best here. Hevea has a high debt level overhang (nevertheless the management has done a good job in reducing this concern by almost $25m every year since 2010) while Liihen has a legal hot potato at hands, the outcome of which is unpredictable and can be devastating if the apex court ultimately ruled against Liihen.
Thus, Hevea is a much better buy than Liihen given the CLARITY among these two here.

Pohuat
14/2 1.17 1,220,100
17/2 1.24 2,248,400
18/2 1.25 625,700
19/2 1.30 681,600
Hevea
14/2 1.17 802,500
17/2 1.20 1,231,700
18/2 1.26 3,768,500
19/2 1.30 2,299,500
In terms of shares price, both have risen from 1.17 to 1.30 within the same period. However, on 19/2 Hevea has touched an intraday high of 1.32 whilst Pohuat only 'touchNgo' 1.30 at the closing bell with few thousand shares done, a clear signal on the existence of a market maker or someone with an ulterior motive to close the stock high.
The traded volumes of both stock tell a different story. Pohuat shows a declining traded volume whilst Hevea is on an escalating traded volume trajectory. Please don't forget Hevea also has another Hevea-WB listed with an equally impressive traded volume, with 2,165,600 warrants traded just today alone. Moreover, Hevea has been trading with an average of >1m shares everyday since 28/1.
In summary, purely speaking on market observation ground, Hevea is definitely having more market participation by investors/punters alike than Pohuat. As a matter of fact, this morning's trading on Pohuat was very lukewarm before it finally picked up steam, when the sector leader Latitud put up an impressive show.

POHUAT owners have no choice because the little tempest in the teacup happened between them and the "operator", so they have to buy back all the shares.
Although the Yoongs have been selling some shares (hardly 500,000 shares all in) but they have stopped doing so of late, despite the increased traded volume. That mean last month's selling by the Yoongs are more of an internal shareholdings reorganization or reshuffling and not the perceived "cashing out" by some forummers here, judging by the insignificant number of shares disposed. This is further reinforced by the fact that the Q4 result will be announced by this 25th (as hinted by 1Mtalkingkangkung) and the Yoongs knew fully well that the numbers are glass-smashing, hence the stop in selling.

All furniture stocks have doubled in their respective market price since September 2013. The only lame and exceptional one is Liihen which showed a gain of only 20+ sen to date. If we are to compare a longer period of 12 months, it actually retraced 20+ sen from its 2013 high of 1.99. It's daily traded volume looked so paltry and insignificant when put side by side with all the furniture stocks. The legal problem lingering over Liihen must be the main reason investors are shunning this stock.

Although the debt situation is improving over the last few years, still the outstanding debt load of almost $90m doesn't warrant a dividend payment if prudent cash management is strictly to be adhered to, although as a shareholder I very much like to receive one. Perhaps in another year or so a dividend payout may be possible provided that the present rate of paying down the debt can be maintained.
