Virtually most of the income come from maintaining plant availability, and very little from power generation. Whether the plant is generating power or not, the IPP owner will still get paid substantially according to the agreement provided the plant is ready to generate power.

Even if there is lock down in Vietnam, it won't affect the operation of power plants as power generation is a very crucial and essential service.

The intrinsic value of Cypark is definitely way above PP price of 90 sen. Cypark price was probably being depressed to get the price of placement shares as low as possible since only certain well connected people are offered. This is very unfair to existing shareholders especially when the issue is big percentage wise. Cypaark should have done rights issue, which is fair to all even to those who don't want to subscribe as they can always sell their entitlement.

Cypark market price could have certainly performed much better if not for too many PP including this current 20% and ESOS priced and repriced way below market. ESOS is supposed to provide incentives to the employees but where is the incentive then if ESOS is repriced much below market price? It only provide incentive for Directors/controlling shareholders to sell the shares that they already owned and replaced them with cheaper shares via ESOS for quick and guaranteed gains. This kind of ESOS in fact encourage bad behaviors at the cost to minority shredders.

The controlling shareholder already owns more than 60% and continue to accumulate.With good assets being developed, you can probably guess what likely to happen later!

Buy Tanco WB trading at discount

PP are normally priced at a discount to the market price otherwise PP shares may not be subscribed. So if PP for Cypark is 90 sen, it shows that the company and the subscribers are very confident the value of the stock is above 90 sen, which is definitely the case.

In the stock market any thing can happen and market price can be disconnected to value. Value is highly subjective but market price is real, you can trade (buy or sell) on it.

Tanco has been very active and up since May 21 already and continue active, not one day show. First stage from below 6 to 15 and now the second stage today to as high as 22.5
As I said earlier Tanco has precious assets at good locations and they are being developed.

Don't worry too much about the stock going up or even down. Best know what you are buying. If it goes down, just buy it. If it goes up beyond its intrinsic value or what you value, just sell it or take profit. We have no control of market price but we can definitely take advantage of what prices the market offer to us.

WZ-PA should trade at higher price than WZ mother as WZ-PA is more senior hence higher safety and most important it has preference dividend of 3%

Jaks -WC overpriced compared to Jaks-WB

LCC will be the first likely to benefit from opening of air travel as they are popular with holiday and leisure travels. Most biz dealings can still be done via on line but not holidays and leisures. Pent up demand combined with less competitors will give excellent future for air lines that can manage to survive. National airlines tend to serve premium market and biz travels.
Those airlines that can survive this pandemic ordeals will definitely will thrive.

Jaks-WB is a cheaper option for exposure to Jaks compared with Jaks-WC

For those pessimists that take the view that no more future for air travels and therefor permanent closure of airline travel in the foreseeable future they should invest in other biz space, avoid like plaque anything related to air travel for both leisure and biz.
If Air Asia, being a top LCC known worldwide, can not survive this pandemic, hard to expect other airlines can survive either. There are people who are concerned about negative net worth and high debts, my advice go and study the industry and know basic accounting to understand that the most important assets no longer owning hard and tangible assets that are normally written down on the balance sheets. The most important assets are not captured or written down. In fact many world class companies have negative net worth.
There is little risk in investing in Air Asia now but there exist uncertainty of not knowing when exactly air travel will restart and recover. Do not simply conflate risk with uncertainty.

Best take the cash and reinvest in other companies that are undervalued and there are many around now, thank to covid-19.

There are already many companies were being privatized and more coming as there are many companies are currently undervalued by the market. Now is a good time to take companies private as the current rule is still favorable to those taking companies private. The offer only has to be reasonable and don't have to be fair to minority shareholders. Singapore has already changed the rule that the offer has both to be reasonable and fair. So before we change the rule in Malaysia, don't be surprise more companies being taken private.

Any body can make offer but I don't think the current controlling shareholder will accept it unless the new offer is ridiculously high !

Like it or not, the offeror already has absolute majority shares at more than 51% and has full control in the running of the company.

No reason for non interested / minority shareholders to vote against. If SCR fails price very likely fall below 2. unless some body else offer higher price, which is very very unlikely. Even now the price already much below 2.
Value as I said earlier is very subjective and you can not buy or sell on value but on market price. Don't be surprised the offer and or his proxy are collecting MMC shares at current cheap price to make privatization cost to the offeror even cheaper to execute.

Cancellation of ESOS is definitely good for shareholders. Cypark has not only keep issuing ESOS to directors/major shareholders but reducing the price to a ridiculously low price.

If rejected, minority shareholders will definitely lose unless some body will offer a higher price. No reason for them to reject. There is nothing to gain to reject the offer.

The offeror being the controlling shareholder most likely knows the capability of MMC to pay non interested shareholders prior to making the offer.

Once Cypark announce the completion of WtE Project at LTM, the price will shoot up or even before announcement as it is currently very underpriced.
Those who know and understand the biz and the biz model of Cypark will have no issue at all on high leverage and negative cashflow flows from operation and investing.

The offeror or his proxy very probably collecting MMC now as it is even cheaper now for the offeror to take the company private.

The independent board should not decide for and on behalf of minority share holders. Therefor the idea board will reject the proposal will not arise. Perhaps if there is a contending offer at higher price, then board probably reject the existing offer and recommend the new offer at higher price.

LYC in the right biz of healthcare, a growth biz sector with good potential and what is even better, LYC itself is fast growing.

If low, more reasonable to support the proposal to take private at 2.00
