Shares in SG and MY are convertible, meaning you can buy in Malaysia, convert it to singapore, and sell it there, so it’s not totally different.....it’s the same....arbitrage takes time, hence the price difference.

Lol Berry I too am a supporter for Dsonic mainly of their advanced tech in the biz, however please dont promote false hope to investors, the risk is damn high to invest in Dsonic now, you need to know they feed on government contracts and with this political uncertainty, risk is gonna be high (meaning you win big or lose big). You still can earn money from this counter, but please dont blind investors with false info

Why I think its risky to invest in dsonic now

1) Dsonic feeds on contract, and in order to surge to higher high at this point, they need to secure NIIS and VLN contract, which is very uncertain now due to our political instability. Dsonic's political tie is very uncertain now, I do not know if they are close with Mahathir/Muyhiddin/Zahid anymore. Like it or not, you need these connections to secure government contracts.

2) Company is buying into treasury. This is normally a good sign as it shows the company is confident in its future prospect. However, I would view this as major shareholders with most shares on margin that who are also in management trying desperately to hold the price to avoid margin call. This action itself is very risky.

If you have bought in, Upside is that

1) they definitely have the best technology around in Malaysia and I would almost confirm if this coup didnt happen, they would for sure secure at least one of the 2 contracts (VLN/NIIS)

2) They have already secure some medium sized contracts. If they could at least maintain their current profit(20m/quarter) for the next few years, price should stabilize around 80-90c with PE15 valuation. ( I know stock market doesn't work like this, just providing some stats) So it could mean your downside is not all that bad.

Lol dsonic is a performing company with the latest tech there is in Malaysia, you need political ties in this industry to do well, dsonic is just caught in a bad position since this coup, such a pity, now it really depend on if the political guy behind can win it all, if not, dsonic will sink at least medium run

Joyvest, that private company is prob a holding company, so the interest more or less is the same, I don’t think it’s to restore position as there’s no real meaning to it, as for why he does this, it’s really hard to speculate. With all these change in board and share transfer, imo good outweigh bad, but you could be right, this might be a trap etc, but this is stock market, if everything is so clear on the surface, price won’t be as it is today. You could wait till everything is so clear in the air to take position, but then you would either make less loss or less profit, simple.
