The problem with Parkson is the floor space they rented is far too big. Have to cut down by half. Should go online big way. They have so many suppliers but don’t know how to utilise it.

I as a supplier of both Aeon and Parkson knows more than anyone of you here. Parkson payment is still very prompt. The trouble they get into for the last few years is created by one of their top management. He has already been terminated. This guy sign up a few bad locations which most of it been closed down.

No matter what happens. I don’t think Parkson will go bust. In Malaysia there are only 2 main departments stores. Parkson and Aeon. They operate in big city. If Parkson is in trouble, definitely ther will be some group taking over.

No ! If you don’t swap then land will be delisted. So you will be a share holder for an unlisted company. You cannot sell but will enjoy dividends if they are given to you. Just wait and hope yeoh will relist this company which I think they will.

@ kris wong.. you are correct. They needs 97.37%. I just call up PBB to double check. They needs 90% of balance shares that they are not holding ON the date of the Offer.

Then we hold on until 30/8. Let him force us to transfer when he gets 90%. NO POINT of Transferring now.

If convert then you have to wait a long time to regain your investment. FYI corp highest price traded was about rm 2 which that was 10 years ago. Unless your price purchase of Land is below 60 sens. In 10 years time I think Land will be relisted.

If 90% then your shares will automatically convert even after deadline. That’s what I was told. If below 90% and YTLLand wanted to delist then you are share holders but you still enjoy when they are dividend given.

According to PBB securities if yeoh family gets 90% then it is compulsory to convert. Correct me if I’m wrong. That’s what Pbb told me.
