Go Genting....drive up, walk in...pick a table....sailang and its all over in 5 minute. Journey to drive up, park car and walk in....less than 2 hour only leh. if round 1 lucky enough....another 1 round sailang....maybe another 5 minute only.

AA pay out SD 29 Aug, IGBREIT,PAVREIT and YTLREIT all payout on 30 Aug. I can only come back to buy more AA in early Sept with all the dividend from these portfolio. Hope price will drop by then so that i can average down.

In forums like this, one should "agree to disagree" as not everyone will view a glass as half empty....some look at it and say its half full. Its just a matter of perception of things. You say what your opinion is, let others decide on their own, if they agree with you, no problem, it they dont, its not your money that got burn anyway. So why feel bad about it?

N17, i dont know what is your problem with Betkawkaw and Jaya but not everyone that think AA is worth buying at current price is your target to pick mud slinging with. I haven't been in this forum long enough to know the whole story and how it start, not interested as well.

In case you didnt notice, i dont go around saying how much i profit or that i manage to buy few hundred thousand unit, sell off and make profit...those are nonsense. All shares i have on AA are already some time already, i had enjoyed good dividend payout including the SD last year of 0.4 and coming 0.9. I'm just a small investor trying to make good investment for retirement purpose. I top up my investment in multiple counter every month, some in IGBREIT, some in AA and hopefully some in SUNREIT once i achieve what i want to hold for IGBREIT. If i'm lucky, i average down the price but for all the reit in my portfolio, its always average up cos the price keep going up.

I'm in for the long term, not interested in contra or a week of price movement.

Bro, whatever your argument with others....let it go la, you will live a happier life. Everyone are entitled to have their own view on what is good and what is bad investment. There are more than enough money in the market for everyone to make if we just share our info and opinion but dont take it too personally when someone have a different view from you. No one is right all the time and no one is wrong all the time. The fact that all of us still trading in Bursa means each of us must have made more right decisions than wrong ones. If not, every time kena burn....sell underwear also cannot cover the loss.

Mabel, KLCC REIT is a bit too expensive for me now....i'm loading up on IGBREIT and after that will go for SUNREIT. Once the basket is full, then i'll look into KLCC.

As for AA, i already sold my last pair of underwear to load up jor.....all excess funds already went into IGBREIT but i did manage to garb some AA to average down, just not enough. Limited funds but so many good counter to invest. So far, PAVREIT, YTLREIT and IGBREIT is doing darn well with good payout and unrealised capital gain.

Bullet from AA will only come in end of Aug, cant play contra also as i dont intend to sell but hold for long term.

I saw Lot 10 built up....Menara Maybank, Tabung Haji, KLCC, KL Tower, Mid Valley and even Istana Hotel built up...but i dont recall Fitzpatrick.

Mall and building management are very different now, its more organised and managed compared to previous. Look at Sungai Wang, it was the most sought after back in the 90's but because of poor management, it went on a slide and down all the way. If not for the monorail and location its in, it would be buried long ago.

Mabel, you enjoy your lobster with the SD money end of this month...i'm gonna reload and see if i can get a bargain on 30 Aug or not. I hope AA price maintain at current level or max upto RM2, so i can buy some. If not AA, a few lot of PAVREIT or IGBREIT pun ok la.

IGBREIT today price adjust to 1.97 due to XD.....first transaction went thru at 1.93 and not in less than half a day it bounce back to 2.02. Not bad for a counter to re-bounce from XD like this counter.

their IPO was 1.40 many years back....those who bought it back then would have fully recover their investment and making profits now. Their share is basically free already and every dividend are pure profits

when doing business, you hedge some of the risk...for AA thats oil price....but when oil price go down, AA can still cash in and buy spot....or buy forward at spot price + a certain points. Both side, will enable AA to maintain a certain % of their GP.

As for TF comment of "best year ever".....of course....in 2012 the year 2012 was the best ever and in 2013, it was better than 2012 so its the best year ever. TF do not have a crystal ball to see the future but every year, it seems to be better than the year before. Thats growth, either in terms of sales, passenger load, market share, etc. I can see it go up from y-o-y.

At current price of 1.85, i do think its a good buy for long term.

Truly, do you even have any idea what is PN17? How can AA get there? Maybe in a few years time if the company is really badly manage but it will be easier to push the share price to 2.50 in a month time than to get the company into PN17 in 5 years time.

Everyone pls take note...while XD is Monday, payout is end Aug....that is also when the 2nd Q result would be known and possible another interim. If you miss the RM0.90 dividend this time, you may still able to cash in on the interim.

Next week after XD AA sure drop (adjusted down) by 0.9 wor....so he is right also. But today hope to see it go above 3

seasonal up or down is normal in any business. Just because of 1 not so good Q does not mean the company is not good. Dont just look at 1 report and make decision. AA is more than that.

Road block at 2.90....that means XD price may be RM2. If there is any naive investor panic sell next week....this would be an opportunity to grab some cheap share and hold it for long term. AA is not for short term contra player. Long term grow and dividend over the years will be the ultimate aim and not a few day share price movement.

RainT, you are right...the correct terminology is "adjusted down after XD" but not everyone here know what it means, thats why i used the word "drop". Likewise to "Retained Earnings"....many people would have no idea its actually meaning is accumulated PAT over the years the company had been in operation.

Michael....in theory...it should fall 0.9 after XD....thats what text book say but of course in reality due to other factors, invertor perception is different. Everyone see different thing....some people here will tell you after pay RM0.90 as SD, AA will go bust and delisting, some will tell you even at RM3, the company is undervalue as they see the potential of the company in the long run.

I too had enjoyed 2 round of interim and last year SD....price come down a bit but not by much.
