this price is very attractive...Scomnet have very few shares traded in general public (which is around 21%, correct me if im wrong) so the major dip is an opportunity...well there might be so many more reason for the dip, one probably in everybody's mind would be a less than expected QR report, it could be likely the case...but as an investor, these dips are hard to come by for a company like Scomnet...so i would capitalize on it and add more...fundamentally sound company with great prospects, price will adjust itself, just hold for long term...

Workers
- Initial detection of 41 workers on 2 Nov – 12 workers were tested positive
- Have separated negatively tested patients
- ~5,794 workers in the Meru, Klang area – have been tested
- 2,534 have been tested positive – the teratai cluster is not exclusively Top Glove alone
- none in ICU reported in media
- pending results on remaining 1,900
- Remaining +1000 workers to be tested outside the Klang area (can be tested within a day)
- Almost 500 have been discharged since
- Negatively close contact workers are tested again upon returning to work
- Total workers 13,000. Foreigners - 11,000, locals – 2,000.
- Total workers in Klang are 8,200. All are in the midst of being tested

Operations
- 28 factories in the Meru, Klang area – have been affected
- Of which, 20 are glove factories – remaining are condom, dental dam, supporting operations (chemicals, face mask, glove formers)

Concerns over contamination of gloves
- Concerns of gloves being contaminated? Studies have shown that covid lasting PPE surface – by 4 hours, the virus survival rate is 0.3%. Usually 4 weeks for delivery – that involves 40 degrees
- Throughout the whole production process – is largely automated – minimal handling - workers are using gloves, hair net and face net + the working environment is quite warm
- Given these factors, management thinks risk of contamination to its gloves is low

Orders
- No compensation for delays in orders
- Compensation is usually are tied to long term surgical glove contracts as opposed to TopG’s primarily recurring contracts
- No cancellation of orders since the development
- Spot prices are US$150-160/’000 for Feb to May deliver next year
- Nitrile US$100/’000 in Nov. 15%/10% heading into Dec and Jan
- Latex powder free US$65/’000 in Nov. 5% going forward
- Latex powder US$46/’000 in Nov. 5% going forward

Our takeaway
For now, for the existing run rate of 60-65% for two weeks affects our earnings forecast by 1.5%. However, we leave our earnings unchanged as we have been conservative over our ASP assumptions which is likely to be revised upwards and likewise, earnings. Ultimately, the impact to earnings remains manageable. In the event it is extended, we believe utilisation rate will gradually improve and minimising the impact over the next couple of weeks. This development may remain an overhang on sentiment.

Maintain BUY and target price of RM12.30, based on 13.0x 2021F PE, or close to -3SD of its 5-year forward PE mean. Our PE peg is well below the normalised mean PE peg of 24.5x as we believe it is tied to windfall peak earnings. Top Glove offers sublime earnings CAGR of 450% (FY19-21F). Furthermore, its explosive qoq earnings growth over the next 2-3 quarters should catalyse valuations going forward. Sustained spot sales mix and narrowing latex glove prices to nitrile’s may represent further upside surprise to our earnings forecasts.
