With all the talk about scw expiring, i somehow personally feel that there wont be a major selldown as previous dip...the sentiment is not that bad now to accelerate the selling momentum...moreover IBs might have capitalized on the dip to hedge...
Well its just my wild theory haha

The wind is starting to shift to gloves and u can see them moving... only those who is clear of their mind stood their ground will eventually pull through...if u were able to capitalize on the sentiment shift good for u...but if u run ur mouth on and on and in the end dont make money then you are as dumb as a toothless dog eating chicken feet barking bad about a juicy steak...

@Agjl i have a bigger stake on TG than supe (8:1 to be exact) just because its a solid company and its potential during this pandemic...moreover i do love the way TSLWC portray himself and set that as his company’s motto...do good, work hard, stay healthy and continuous improvement...many may differ in opinion...but everyone got their preference with their stock investment...i do feel much better in hands of TSLWC...
Well thats me...

As big as TG is now, dont u think he have all advisors working for him with inside info from government, IBs, foreign markets, vaccine developments, etc etc...so to make decisions on what they do? If u think u are smarter than all of them and with the inside info...then u are truly a GOD!!! Hehe Cheers!!!

@Agjl yes bro also EPS...but as a investor it sure does make me feel somewhat better...as we all know TSLWC character (some may differ) he portrays to me as a conservative person and a visionary...performance speaks louder than blood (he openly say in interview)...and to add on he has been in business for so many years, how many virus he had been through? Anyway less said, hope u make some money today bro!

From mr google, haha nvm
A company may choose to buy back outstanding shares for a number of reasons. Repurchasing outstanding shares can help a business reduce its cost of capital, benefit from temporary undervaluation of the stock, consolidate ownership, inflate important financial metrics or free up profits to pay executive bonuses.

Dont know about u guys, but when a company spend such a big sum for sbb its a BIG statement. Of course its for benefit of the company in some way...my take is
1) share price undervalued
2) to support the price
3) tax relief (not sure if this is so)
for those experts, i hope u can shed some light on this...i wanna learn more...a noob speaking

Haha now the news come say something...enough pressing d??
KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 19): RHB Investment Bank Bhd said today Covid-19 vaccine deployment could be a new demand source for rubber gloves at up to 18 billion pieces a year assuming that 60% of the world’s population of 7.5 billion people will get the vaccine in two doses annually.
"As each contact with a person should lead to the usage of one pair of disposable gloves, a vaccine deployment will generate demand of 18 billion pieces per annum in the short term. If the vaccine protection period is only up to a year, this 18 billion pieces per annum demand will recur on an annual basis. This is equivalent to 6.8% of the 263 billion pieces per annum global gloves demand in 2019,” RHB analyst Alan Lim wrote in a note today.
Lim said RHB maintained its "overweight" call on the rubber glove sector as the long-term demand outlook for gloves remains positive.

More than seven months after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Covid-19 outbreak in China a “public health emergency of international concern”, the global economy continues to reel from the impact of the virus.

Citing the H1N1 influenza outbreak as an example, Lim said that after the outbreak ended between 2009 and 2010, glove demand dropped slightly in 2011 on a year-on-year basis by 1.3% or two billion pieces to 148 billion pieces a year.
"A vaccine deployment itself could boost global gloves usage by up to 7%,” he said.

@Stockisnotfun...im saying when lockdown that time, sentiments will (or may) come back to healthcare...when vaccine is approved and ready to be distributed worldwide, then probably you can put a timeframe on gloves based on what SOP required to execute vaccine...without a vaccine fully approved for general public, then its all speculations...that is all...just in my opinion
