@serendipity89, Sunway do have partner for bitting Digital Banking license. They just didn't revel who are them. HSBC could be one of possible partner since Sunway works very closely with HSBC.

Sunway’s new sales for Q1 2021 doubled YoY to RM1.2bil (vs. RM583.2mil in 1QFY20), making up 73% of its unchanged FY21F sales target of RM1.6bil. With excellent property sales recorded, Sunway will easily achieve it’s sales target of RM1.6bil or more for 2021. But, 75% of the sales are from Singapore development project which under MFRS 15 accounting entry. The profit may delay to 2023 to recognize. So, I’m expecting profit for Sunway will jump in 2023 especially when velocity medical centre also start contributing good profit. With warrant conversion price drops to RM1.35 after October 2023, that’s the time WB holders will see the true value of the warrant.

@martinbartesque, the valuation don’t work that way. As long as the profit is not realize, it cannot take into account. The Sunway valuation still depends on actual earning. Here, the 20% sale will contribute additional 700m profit which makes the current price ratio become cheap and we can expect Sunway will declares higher dividend for 2021 as the dividend policy is minimum 20% of it’s profit. Nonetheless, now we all knows SHH is the jewel of Sunway’s crown which profit grows at least 20% for a mature hospital. We shall wait for the value to surface in near future. All new hospitals in the pipeline will be ready in the next few years and expect to breakeven and start contributing profit within 3 years after ready. I predict in 2028, SHH is ready for IPO and the Marker Cap will be very much bigger than Sunway itself.

The proposed deal is selling 20-25% SHH at minimum USD250M. Assuming only sell 20% at USD200M or around RM840m. Current 100% NTA for SHH is 683m, that means this sale will book in Sunway extra profit of around 700m and the valuation for SHH is worth RM4.2bn. This is huge since SHH is only 9.8% of Sunway’s assets but valuation is about 50% of Sunway’’s market cap of RM8.34bn base on 18th Closing price. I expect next week RM2 will be the minimum expectation
