Base on Sunway successfully raised RM1bn last Dec and if the proposed selling 20-25% hospital stake is confirm, Sunway will have another RM1bn. This total RM2bn are the extra fund that Sunway likely to carry out significant expansion or merger & acquisitions. From the recent reported rumors in many media plus Sunway recently heavily buying 4.95% IJM CORP share. I think the next project could be related to JV/acquisition/become substantial in IJM Corp. This will be win-win situation for IJM and Sunway.

Velocity Medical Centre is a new hospital starts operates in Sept 2019 and according to last QR report, it will only starts breakeven in Q4 2021. Although this is 9 months earlier than initial projected 3 years breakeven period. Velocity Medical still not making profit yet. IPO valuation very often base on earning but not NTA. Combine two hospitals valuation is cheaper than Bandar SMC alone. Furthermore, due to COVID, year 2020 Bandar SMC profit much lower than 2019. So, unlikely Bandar SMC will list in 7 months from now. To maximize IPO value, all listing hospitals must good profit. Therefore, 7 years is a more realistic time.

It is reported that Management plan to list SHH in about 7 years from now. The valuation of SHH is expected to be higher than the Whole Sunway itself

@martinbartesque, The valuation of SHH is at about RM680m. 20% means RM136m. If the sale of 20% SHH fix at USD250m or RM1bn. This would means Sunway has extraordinary profit of 864m or 17c extra profit per share. The valuation of SHH will be recognise at least 5Bn or fair value at 86 cents higher per Sunway share. Base on current price of 1.63, The TP will be anything between 1.8 to 2.49. WB should be min 0.45 (1.8-1.35) to 1.14 (2.49-1.35) since the conversion price for WB after Oct 2023 will reduce to RM1.35
