Description Clarification: Statement on 6% Dividend Yield made during the Company's Press Conference on 25 November 2020
Reference is made to the statement on estimate of more than 6% dividend yield for the financial year ending 31 August 2021 (FYE 2021) made during the Press Conference held by the Company on 25 November 2020.



According to the Company’s dividend policy of 50% payout ratio on Net Profit after Minority Interest, and with the Bloomberg consensus FY2021 net profit of RM8.61 billion, the expected dividend per share will be RM0.53. With Company’s mid day share price as at 25 November 2020 of RM6.66, the dividend yield would be about 8% (RM0.53 /RM6.66), which is above the 6% as stated above.



The Company wish to clarify that the Company has not decided on the quantum of the dividend for FYE 2021.
