Greetings to all of the Supermx shareholders. I'm sure that all of you slept well after knowing the excellent result from Supermx yesterday. I expect to share price to continue rally until the release of Q12021 result. Based on the quarter report released yesterday, we get to know that the future view of Supermx remains bright. I believe that Q12021 will be the best quarter for Supermx as ASP increases the most in July. I expect to see it reflects in the next QR of Supermx. I'm sure that all of you already noticed the profit taking action through the price movement in morning session. I do not know when it will stop and start to rally. The only advise i can give is to hold tight. My standpoint remains the same, we, the investors invest in the potential value of the company. We should not change our standpoint just because of price movement. We follow the fundamental, we follow the trend. Price changes everyday but trend doesn't. Let's hope for the best of Supermx's future. Cheers

4QFY20 review: Solid end to the year
Supermax reported 4QFY20 revenue/core earnings of MYR929.1mn/399.6mn respectively. Its FY20 core earnings registered MYR528.1mn, which we deem within our expectations but significantly above consensus estimates at 96%/132% of the forecasts. We attribute the strong 4QFY20 performance (on both y-y and q-q basis) to the increase in ASPs each month starting from March 2020 for both its manufacturing and distribution divisions owing to elevated demand due to COVID-19 outbreak. By the same token, 4QFY20 profitability margins and overall earnings base swung to an all-time high for the group. More importantly, management mentioned in an official press release that “the highest ASPs have not been reflected in this current quarter” and that it hopes to report healthier performance in the coming quarters. This is consistent with our view that ASPs remain on uptrend currently across the industry.
