MFCB did not came in blindly. Did you not watch the AGM video? They only enter because the ex-KLK MD or team with 20 years experience running KLK Oleo partner with them. It is a partnership with someone very experience in that industry. MFCB has 0 knowledge, but the other team / company has knowledge, MFCB offers cash and back up the debt.

MFCB already said they would not have entered this deal if it wasn't for the ex-klk guy.

Shariah compliant funds are exiting Yinson before end of Nov, thus the selling pressure. Fundamentally Yinson is ok. Hopefully they can win 1 or 2 more FPSO projects that does not require huge capital or no capital at all.

At least SKP dont have huge rents to pay or debt to repay. Thus they can be more flexible. If you have debt and rent to pay and cannot run at max capacity, then your profit will greatly be effected. I think SKP should be doing OK. Not expecting new high.

That is because their cash and short term investment amounted to RM14.3m, and their debt is RM74.4m. It cost them RM400K to open each new CU outlet, and if they plan to open more, they will need more money as they are still losing money operating existing myNEWS outlet and their kitchen is also losing money due to wastage and etc.

I think it is a matter of time, not if but when.

If you read the AGM transcript, they too says they dont discount the fact they might do a PP or RI in the future but currently no plans as they have access to bank credit line.

It all goes down to execution. Every new CU will take time to recoup the investment, and if myNEWS is bleeding money, that is double trouble.

Therefore I am somewhat disappointed. The right move is to close down as many myNEWS and convert good myNEWS location to CU. Do it gradually, but they refuses to let the myNEWS brand name dies.

The said they open a factory in Mexico to market their products for the North America region, not South America. Which is why I did a simple research and found nothing on Amazon or Walmart, not even in Google Search, including Mexico.

This is a very tough market, Nestle and all the big brands have a brand name and people normally dont switch. Not to mention baby formula milk? nobody is going to buy that, and if want to buy cheap one, even nestle produce cheap baby milk formula, thus, how in the world is Able going to compete?

Majority of their stores are in Klang Valley and rely on locals, AirAsia need to fly people to point A to point B (or sell planes). 2 different thing. Genting also need Chinese gamblers from China. myNews is different.

I told many in Telegram TG group not to average down... but I was ban. TG is profitable and good, but the trend is not good, best is to wait and see. If really want to average down, wait for the worse news - WHO declares end of pandemic and covid is now endemic. Then you only buy.

But no, curse me, ban me. It will continue to go down. You will know it is the bottom when a big bad news wont even push it down anymore.
