Honestly...I am a newbie to stock market.

My talk will be on 'Career Management' for young professionals.
How they can climb corporate ladder.

I took the afternoon off yesterday...went to KLCC and had a nice Japanese lunch with my daughter - she works there.

Read all your concerned comments this morning, and I really appreciate all the constructive advice.

I will leave HY CJ alone for a while - at least until CNY. Today is really a bad day - with HY dropping more than One Ringgit.

Others too, I will leave them there. No point in worrying about them on daily basis.

I have also decided to pursue another passion of mine to fill my retirement time; that is writing! I have started and wish to complete a book by end February.

Also, I will be conducting sessions sharing my wealth of work experience with young people who are ambitious and wish to learn a few tricks from someone who have done that and been there.
My first session will be on 10th February entitled, "How to be successful in a career beyond your comfort zones!"
I only charge RM80 per participants, really low, because my intention is to help young people to realize their potentials.

All previous profits disappeared in a flash from one stock.

Today exited HengYuan CA, the thorn in my portfolio. Realized losses, but never mind....I used the money to average down on UMWOG.

Still holding on to Hengyuan CJ with a lot of paper loss...another huge thorn this one. I supposed with Mid year expiry, I can wait until CNY lorr...and see if can make profit or break even.

Am I the oldest in this house?
- Now some movement on UMWOG, I am patiently waiting to make some money.

- its earning; net profit increased 48% (2017/2016)
- revenue growth by 32% to RM373mil.
- end 2016 to now, share price return of 110%
However, the Price Earning Ration is at 26 times; a bit high for my liking.

Do not have info on PENTA yet.

Solid fundamentals, I am surprised not many takers.

Yes I was just an employee, one who has done quite well in the three multinational companies I served. Each has taken me to global platforms, exposing me to different culture and nuances.

Making profit (on paper) is just as important as 'missed' opportunities in my view. Therefore decision making is key. As a case in point, I queued for Hibiscus yesterday, at 0.82. i didn't get any. To me that was a missed opportunities as I believe in the stock. Who knows what will the price be on Monday.

But, patience is a winning attribute. Therefore, I will learn to be more patient as I continue in the market.

I guess, what will be really helpful is to read rationales for any recommendations. Of course there is no right or wrong, but opinions with rationales help to challenge our mind to think and make our own conclusion.
