I kind of confuse with the 10%. If I not mistaken , I read somewhere that need 10% of total shares , which means 70.2MM instead of 40+MM to turn down the proposal

@YouWin I will put my bet on those stock counters with land in Pasir Gudang area. Betting that East of Johor will be connected to Singapore through another RTS.
Singapore didn't like bridge as more cars will enter Singapore. RTS only transporting people.

We just do whatever we can for a better price. I wish Surin will revise the price to 2 and above and with happy ending at EGM. Then we can move on to other counters

Although our holding represented a small fraction of the 702MM oustanding shares but we hope we can joint force with other minority shareholders to sense a clear signal to Surin that we are trying our best to go against the unfair offer price.

We have a couple of millions of shares in hand and we decided not to sell at open market and will vote against the resolution during EGM unless the offer price revise to min RM2

YTD , only 2% of shares changed hand which drove the stock price from 1.05 to 1.63.
This definitely not the alternative to privatize the company through open market purchase as minority shareholders is holding tight with their shares.
By announcing privatisation at 1.70 , Surin might hope that he can cap the price and minority shareholders will sell off below 1.70. The transaction volumes yesterday afternoon after the announcement and today sent a very clear signal to him that we will not dispose our shares at this price.

Aboce was Pasir Gudang land price

PGB as an example. The land deal 238.8MM. Which included 90MM to convert land title from Argricultiural and get all infrastructure ready. Excluding this , will be RM2MM per acres. Ulu Tiram only 20km from JB. Pengerang more than 60km from JB. Pasir Gudang 40km from JB. Commercial land within 30 to 50 psft today

Johor has unique land law that different from other state. I learned from another stock that I hold with land bank in IDR

Plenty of land in IDR. The zone earmark for industrial will be Pasir Gudang. The most for Pengerang will be for PetroChemical.

Government bought over at 90+sen if I not mistaken and sold at RM7. That triggered the legal battle

MPHBCAP land in Pengerang as per annual report classified as agricultural land , or to be exact, oil palm estate which same as most plantation company , book value at RM1 psft.
If outright sales , my guess will be 10 to 12 psft which will equal to about RM1 to RM1.50 per share

The ART system will focus on area surrounding JB. Phase 2 will extend to Pasir Gudang area.
Accessibility to Pengerang will be only through road and far away from JB and Singapore which limited the appreciation of land price in Pengerang unless government decided to build 2nd RTS connecting East Johor to Singapore.

The land in Penang not as strategic located.

Both land at Jalan Imbi and Flamingo by the lake at Jalan Ampang very valuable

Plenty of opportunity in Johor through the JB-Singapore Special economy zone. Just matter will management take any action to unlock the value of the asset

What I observed was that someone was accumulating. Clean up 1.20. Now moving towards 1.30

I hardly look at this stock as very boring.

I patiently waiting for the day management make an announcement that material to the stock price. Might be to morrow , might be this year or might be forever..

EC yet to finalise the term and condition for exporting solar power. Due to carbon credit , Singapore need green energy.

The land Paragon Globe sold was located at Ulu Tiram , about 20 minutes drive from Johor Baru City Center.
For Pengerang land , beside data center , solar plant might be another option. The land size just nice for 500MW capacity which open tender under LSS5. Adjacent to Singapore will be an advantage.

The management is slowly clearing up the seller in the market. I just holding on with my stock with expectation of min 5 sen per share dividend for reinvestment

For a company with net cash and equivalent of about RM1.50 per share , buyback share below 1.50 will always be a good bargain.

Seem like almost clearing all the selling below RM1 and buyback moving into 1 to 1.05 region

Dividend announcement will be during QR by end of Feb. I'm expecting 3.5 to 4 sen of dividend. Full year 8 to 9 sen

looking good and hopefully the momentum from the Share Buy Back continue .

A good move by the management to perform share buyback. Hopefully can continue to clear up the weak holder in the market and pave the way for strong rebound when market sentiment turn positive in the future.

I glance through the balance sheet of both FACBIND and Eksons. Both assets mainly in cash or quoted investment and smaller portion in land for development which reflected the value. To push the stock price to next level , management need to use the cash to venture into new business or pump up their property business to improve the performance.
MPHBCAP beside the huge cash pile , the under value land will be an advantage. The stock price will much depends on how the management unlock the value.
Among 3 , I will go for MPHBCAP with higher upside surprise

Mainly in cash and short term investment worth slightly above 1B and undervalue asset.
If continue absorb share through share buy back , the share price will go up

Still too early to conclude post insurance disposal performance of the company. Worth to hold on and monitor for another 6 to 12 months. The share buy back from the management very encouraging.

I have a portfolio of 10 to 20 counters in hand. MPHBCAP is one of the stocks. Switching within the stocks using TA.

I yet to buy any using the capital repayment proceed. Only hold on with my shares accumulated so far.

After receive the capital repayment , can reinvest either into stock # 1 , stock # 2 or MPHBCAP.

I was lucky to switch over 2 stocks since May 2022 to MPHBCAP.
1st stock today at -40% and 2nd stock at -9% while MPHBCAP at +8% based on today closing price.

Market in negative sentiment. No catalysts at all. Stock price npt going down consider very lucky already. Just imagine if sold away MPHBCAP few months ago and switched to other stocks , what will be the delta now ?

30sen , 45 sen or 90 sen it doesn't matter to me. As long as I put my money in cash rich companies that continue to pay dividend , I will be able to accumulate along the way. Couple with the cash pile sitting in bank waiting to take advantage of any margin call incident , once the market rebound , will be hefty return.

If below 0.90 , capital repayment all in for MPHBCAP. Grab few hundred K of MPHBCAP.

As of now , should be 1.44 - 0.4 = 1.04
