Happy for all SuperMax (& Glove) investors. CNY Hong Bao come early but patient investors will wait for bigger Ang Pau Post-CNY as the Wuhan virus outbreak still at the initial stage and spreading rapidly. Glove & Mask demand will skyrocket in tandem with it’s share price.

Not forgetting that SuperMax Management had the foresight to accumulate large amount of Treasury shares (SBB) at the low range. Augurs well for future Share Dividend yet again :-)

Simple Questions : Why continuous announcements of contracts and increasing order book over the years but Company continue to be loss making and burning Cash ? Are the contracts won profitable ?

Time & Tide Waits For No Man as it is just a matter of time that it will head back towards 0.60, 0.70, 080, ..... levels etc. Value Investors will definitely swoop in at such “undervalue price”. Perfect candidate for “bottom fishing” strategy even in such volatile and uncertain economic conditions.

I can agree that Star print media business outlook is not good but even so it should not be at current price based on “Fundamentals”. As I said previously when Star was sold down to a Low of 0.41, it’s cash value is already > 0.50 and market value for its properties is > 1.00. These are real and not hidden assets ! It certainly does not warrant the current share price of < 0.50 as Media sector is a very strategic Asset.

Restaurant business seems profitable but the food MUST be exceptionally good as only huge volume/margin can cover the high operating expenditures & overheads (rental, utilities, manpower cost etc.). Personally, I think AA better re-consider it carefully before embarking on aggressive Santan outlet expansion. It is still not too late to do a reversal like what Sir Dyson did on Electric Car project in Singapore.

Times are different. Property overhang remains a problem and the Company still has high debts and did not declare any dividend for 2019. Although I bought in again at < 1.50 level today albeit small amount since I already made significant gain the last two rounds, it is important that other Ikan bilis without prior crystallised gains are not caught in any down cycle since it is no longer absolute “bottom fishing”.

However, a word of caution. At current level, it is no longer feasible for Ikan Bilis trading as compared with the previous low levels of 1.18 & 1.28 in view of the significant downside risks as compared with the upside risks.

For those that took profit at > 1.60, perfect Share Buyback at < 1.50 level for R3 (R1 @ 1.18, R2 @ 1.28 & R3 @ 1.48) of trading gain in 2020 by riding these Waves :-)
