I choose IT sector because my knowledge, growth and stability i.e. shield from interest rate risk, Fx risk, consumer demands etc. I don't go for chip maker and export oriented type of IT co as I not familar with global demand on those product.

There are 2 leading IT co. ...govt related biz..i.e. e-govt supplier..namely Myeg and Datasonic. Myeg more on payment solution and Datasonic on Security. Normally they will avoid competing amongst themselves. The rest of the co.....imho...the growth are not much (currently). Of all player, Datasonic the youngest....so I think the room for growth are much more.

There are vacuum in e-govt biz....not many good, reliable co can handle big project and give competitive price and good services. Previously mostly deals are done base on political contacts....but now no more!(less). Rakyat are more sensitive, more transparent and who ever give the contract will bear the responsibility.....opposition are stronger now.

First the most important things for me are the mgt; Dato Abu Hanifah is ex EY and president of MIA (Malaysia Institute Accountant) for 13yrs....so I am confident with the books, accountability etc. CBB is visionary leader, trusted and I am very sure he not only good on what he doing but he know a lot on how to increasing shareholder value....ex fund manager.

Biz model...the best....secured...essential expenditure by the govt(must spend...money or no money), critical and sensitive (they won't simply change the systems and risk of mess up with it; besides it would be too expensive to change)....difficult to replace...even in the case of new govt (if pakatan win) this is national interest.

Even project like Myeg e-payment can be replace......with new BNM initiatives to promote paperless payment systems.....can replace Myeg services.....remember how we apply IPO last times.....send envelope & Banker cheque to Midf...and now all thru ATM!

As largest card factories....it is almost impossible other competitor can replaced them easily. KDN will not accept if card is produce oversea.......and for new player to just setup factory for that purpose...simply not feasible and what more Datasonic are swiping all bankcard market.

Does not required high capital and best proft margin....selling otak :))

I want you to think....if ....errr... I said, if Iris able to retain the chip/passport biz....then it status quo...don't expect price will shoot up.

But if they lose it to other co...then it......won't look good right? ...better for you to have contingency plan......just like how we run a biz....plan B perhaps.Time running out fast!

This stock has liquidity problem....floating....large portion keep by passive investors.....only CBB are active and supportive. The rest could not be border......roller coster.....they just hold their shares ....long term investor. Maybe co can consider to give bonus issues again to improve the liquidity. The small retailer always jumpy. So I hope my info or experience will benefits somebody.

CASanji, I'm using MER research on Myeg to highlight the potential benefits to Dsonic on next Amnesty program ..due Nov/Dec. They said they can get RM100M. Dsonic will benefits more thru IMAN.

Think next they will issue FW ID card.....not like Percetakan Negara did...low quality and no benefit at all....like college ID.

The potential are there but the number are off. 1) Myeg have to share with the consortium on Bangladeshi Illegal worker only. The illegal are mostly Indonesian and Bangladeshi (mostly came in illegal or came in with social visit/student visa). Indonesia has the biggest number more..... than 50%. Other like Nepal and Myanmar mostly has a good job/employer. Since Iman has exclusive on TKI, they will get more than 50% of the number.
