I do agree on the era where armada was at era of 1.2B "paper" losses and core operating profit was standing at 60-80mil a quarter on the back of 500mil to 600Mil revenue. I'm surprise that market didn't acknowledge that and the proof proof guy comes wooff wooff.

1) Contract is simple as what's agreed between two parties. It's a normally mutually benefiting. It has nothing to do with what you think or what I think. That's a silly rabbit hole go into. What matters here is what actually is the contract?

2) Here's what I think about your construction example and who is the king; As for how a contract tilts in favor of who; that depends on who goes low enough to be the other person's b*tch. For construction; who is the b*tch is obvious. For only way for some unscrupulous construction company to stay afloat; they cut corners. You can tell from the poor build quality around. Between a man that never comprise his bottomline and a man compromise everything; the latter will more likely to perish. Nonetheless, I mean you well.

3) Joint Venture contracts can be very flexible. Just to give you something to think about; let's say agreed charter rate is USD40 per barrel. Global price per barrel drops to USD30 per barrel; don't you think that the client wouldn't have a contingency agreement if price drops to a certain level; the charter rate will be adjusted accordingly.And for that convenience, wouldn't a service provider negotiates for increase profit sharing if market price above certain level in return for that contingency? Anyway like you say; armada is not construction company. Your construction contract can be VERY DIFFERENT from OnG contracts.

You see the way I make deals; I don't want to drive my clients into bankruptcy. At the same time, I don't want to be his b*tch. Now, that's a sustainable mutually benefiting contract.

So, there is NO ARGUMENT which types of contracts are better. Again, it's not important if what you think or what I think is right. What is the actual contract?

My fair value for Armada is 60-65sen based on very conservative FYE20 Annualised EPS at 6sen, at PE 10 is 60sen. 72sen at PE 12 and 90sen at PE15. BTW, Yinson at PE44.

Unlike kraken that's already pumping money out; yinson's brazil contract haven't start making money yet; hopefully; Yinson's two years down the road no impairment la. Make money also priced in at PE44; do you know how much EPS improvement for PE to drop to 20? If really double, the price maybe up abit. I hv been think of this problem for a while; how to exploit pullbacks and technical rebound.
Buy in temporal dips and sell into near term resistance and help reduce my cost and reduce my exposure. e.g. Hold ur previous 100lots e.g. 20sen. Now queue, 100lots 45sen. If pull back hits 45 sen and rebound 47sen and sell them. You make 2 sen. Your cost of your initial 100lots has reduced by 2 sen to be 18sen.

Cos, i'm confortable to average down. But not comfortable to average up.

Can buy on dip on up trend share, and sell into near term resistance. It reduces ur exposure and reduce ur average. If ur average is low enough, then u can tolerate a more severe pull back and still in the game.
