Martin Scorsese directed Wolf of Wall Street. He also directed "Casino" starring Robert DeNiro and Sharon Stone - the true story about how the Mafia skimmed millions from Las Vegas casinos in the 60s and 70s. In the last few scenes, the authorities close in, shutting down casinos and arresting everyone involved in the scheme. The Mafia then starts assassinating all the key players, even their own, to prevent them testifying. Jho Low should be very worried. I think we all know it won't take long for a softy like him to sing like a canary if he were arrested and facing hard time in prison.

Yeah...I know there's still good upside potential, and I know the mid to long term prospects for AA are great. Yet still no balls to go in further at this level. Just stuck staring at it like I'm hypnotized as I watch it climb from 1.90 to 2.10 to 2.80 and beyond.

All this good news for AA yet the spectre of Brexit looms over all. Is it reasonable to expect the stock to soar once Brexit has passed one way or the other?

There will of course, be an initial knee-jerk reaction if Brexit does occur. I think markets all around the world will drop initially before recovering. The extent or severity of the drop and how long before recovery is anyone's guess. And then will come more volatility due to election time in the States! However, AA has what it takes to weather the storm. If we don't have that confidence then better just cash out and stuff it in our mattresses along with our heads until everything is sunny again.

He's talking about the Brexit referendum on June 23. If nothing happens, i.e., Britain remains in the EU, then a huge destabilizing factor will be removed from the financial markets.

I'm a big AA fan, but its good to hear about the potential downside too. Still, as you said yourself, the airline industry is crazy competitive, so AA has to grow aggressively in an aggressively growing market, or risk losing out to smaller, hungrier airlines. If AA loses its dominant position, it will be extremely hard to claw back market share so why shouldn't they exploit their position at the top and just go for it? With their greatly expanded fleet, AA will pretty much corner the market on budget air travel in Asia. Its go big or go home time, bro.
