They actually don't need to inject into SYGroup. The break even is 2-3 years with the purchased price and the injection price is relatively cheap. I sold off 40% of my shareholding in this company because afternoon selling is quite fast even with such positive news. I want to buy it back if touch my target price.

Shawn88, You can see that they have been injecting a few businesses into SYGroup, and it’s likely that more will be in the pipeline, considering they hold many profitable companies within Shin Yang. This counter move very slow and may switch gear from here on

I doubt it will be awarded to foreign company otherwise it will be politicized and become a big issue for many years. The current situation does not allow that to happen

Hippopotamuska, this expected to happen when they cannot privatize the company as some smart people blocked the deal. The only to eat the meat is to bite the meat slowly until it is gone. The same group of people cannot do anything now as they are not major shareholder. You can only watch the meat being beaten slowly and feel the pain

The warehousing team has really played well when cahoots someone influential. Guess the games of playing that person backside should be done by now. The short covering by some players may return but in full force within this or next week. Dr Y only held 15% of this counter and 50% by another shareholder. Yippy68, i have purchased SYGroup as they have changed their name and guess they have plans for the company. This is a huge company in Sarawak with lot of businesses (construction, bus transport, petrol station, furniture, trading, property, etc) as i understand from friends. Every quarter with positive result since 2021. The existing chairman and his son took over from previous management as Chairman and Vice Chairman. See that they are continuing making plans for the company. I think it can give me additional RM0.04 earning than waiting for Bplant offer letter. I am just sharing what i am doing after selling Bplant. This is not finance advice or recommendation so do not take this as one.
