Coincidentally it is the 3rd attempt this year KLCI challenge 1790-1800 resistance, similarly if Maybank challenge 9.80 tomorrow. Usually resistance will be taken away at 3rd attempt. Hopefully my expectation is not too high.

Missed good show yesterday, hope it can close the gap at 1.52 by crossing it strongly. Bollinger band top at 1.44 was touched yesterday. MACD yet to cross to positive zone, slightly lag to ssteel.

Based on calculation, if 2% premium, 9.80, C31=(1.02X9.80-9.50)/3=0.165;
if 1% premium, 10, C31=(1.01X10-9.50)/3=0.20;
if 2% premium, 9.80, C34=(1.02X9.80-9.25)/2.5=0.30;
if 1% premium, 10, C34=(1.01X10-9.25)/2.5=0.34.
Market most of time is unpredictable, above is merely references. Today should be Maybank as T+9, technically bullish

CIMB Research reiterated its end-2017 KLCI target of 1,790 points, while lowering its end-2018 target from 1,920 to 1,880 to reflect recent changes in the KLCI constituents.

When I read above news on 21st, KLCI was 1751, I was thinking how they can push the index to 1790. After the banks MACD moved to positive region 1 by 1, Now I have to believe it can be done. Maybank target could be 9.80 tomorrow or even hit 10 this Friday. 9.80 is 3rd attempt to challenge after potential energy accumulation (3 month consolidation).

TNB share price increase a lot recently may indicate electricity price rerating on the way. Potential electricity rerating and slow property sector are 2 possible reasons to sell down, fundamentally that I can think of. Hope other favorable factors strong enough to counter the unfavorable factors
