fundamental good O&G counter, definitely better than DAYANG especially in the espect of PE and DY

and I hope they don't release the QR tomorrow if it doesn't live up to expectation, because cannot sell all to leave the counter right after that because remaining share dividend will only be credited on 28 nov

if wasn't investor being extra cautious with steel price, I think this counter already valued at least half it's NTA at RM0.60

@wongcheehui8383 nice~ I only pay attention to this counter after yesterday QR report, the only thing I don't like with steel counter is that the counter price is too much influenced by steel price. but since now there is 2 years moratorium and steel price is quite stabilized, plus huge NTA discount here. I think it should be very safe to park here for another 3 months until next QR unfold

weird company, good sales during covid years only. facepalm, luckily stayed away from this counter at 3.12 as soon as the next day May 2022 QR announced.

has been monitoring this counter since then for a good timing and price to reenter, but seems like I should give up by now :-(

the operating cost of the company seems so high that a QR of low revenue can cost them big losses

QR result out, still consistent good EPS, annualized PE below 5, this means company's profit can make up it's current market capitalization in just 5 years provided EPS is consistent and price still remains stagnant by then

POHKONG price / NTA = 0.835 / 1.85 = 45%
TOMEI price / NTA = 1.17 / 2.89 = 40%,
to make it 45% same as POHKONG, price need to be adjusted to 2.89 x 45% = RM1.30 (very safe target price for me)

this alone only comparing NTA, not yet comparing their PE

note that their recent years growth in EPS is in corresponse to their growth of revenue (overall product selling), which means it has not much to do with higher gold price and it is not dependent on gold price to generate such good EPS.

moreover, season of lower GOLD price can also generate more sales = higher revenue = higher EPS. most important is the company is very good in this business segment and know how to deal with swings in GOLD price by adjusting their selling price and inventories to keep the company profitable in long term

gold price up and down doesn't matter much in this gold retail counter,

their ability to generate EPS is very consistent to keep PE below 5 for long term at current stock price

7.35 EPS, annualized PE still 3.97 only, PE still not reflect on price LOL

Q3 EPS cannot affect overall PE much unless it is negative
