Huge impairment has already been made to write down the cost of plant and equipment. Now we need to wait for the turnaround or disposal of the whole concession.

Thong needs to acquire sufficient Insas-WC in order to be able to cross 50% and render the MGO unconditional. And Thong can stealthily accumulate Insas-WC without having to report any purchases since he isn't a director of Insas.

Insas BOD decided to take profit on Inari as most insas shareholders want Insas to take profit. So no complaint from me when Insas sold some Inari shares to report a good quarter result.

The problems is I cannot understand why Insas BOD hold such a large cash hoard of over RM 1 billion?


Insas is hoarding cash for the big, special dividend of 35 sen after Thong exercises his warrants and crossing 50% shareholding.

Insas sells bits of Inari every quarter to book some gains, this has been expected. They probably sold some Inari shares yesterday as well.

Last quarter lower selling price of Inari shares.

Insas selling of bits of Inari is immaterial to the minorities. Insas share price will continue to be manipulated and suppressed.

When they consolidate the results at Insas Bhd level the group cost should be around RM0.736.

Insas' gain on disposal of 8.5 million Inari shares probably RM25 million.

Abang Jo has been told by Bank Negara to shut up and since then Abang Jo hasn't mentioned Affin.

As expected Insas sold Inari shares this week, 8.5 million in total.

Took some profit at 0.49 today.

Insas has about 2 weeks remaining to sell some Inari shares and surely they will and will get a good price boosting the cash balance further.

Most bank stocks are now paying good dividends. My choice is Affin because there's a great upside potential (in terms of percentage).

By February 2026 Insas cash would be how much? Thong exercise his warrants, if he crosses 50%, his MGO will be unconditional. After that Thong needs to reduce his own personal financial burden for crossing 50%. Insas in position to declare special dividend of 35 sen. Insas share price will rally upon the pleasant news of 35 sen dividend.

Insas RM1.35 peak is highest in over 20 years, I think.

I was referring to Insas' highest level in November 2021 then.

In November 2021 Inari reached RM4.30, highest all time level. And Insas reached highest at RM1.22 during that month. It was in that month that I exited Insas the second time at around RM1.20. Subsequently bought back Insas from 80 sen to 85 sen and went on to exit a third time in January this year. In total made a four fold gain.

From time to time we see the appearance of new water fish who thinks he has "discovered" the most undervalued stock in whole of Malaysia and thinks he is the smartest person in the whole of Malaysia. 🤣🤣🤣

Actually, it's a pity seeing Insas shares price unable to move up in proportion to Inari's rally. This isn't the first time. In my 8 years observation of Insas it has happened several times previously.
