Like I said yesterday imagine IF Leno had sold off ALL her Insas-WC last Thursday and used all the proceeds to buy up Jaks. Pity Leno still stuck in Insas 15 years 4 months.

In a SCR once at least 75% vote for and less than 10% vote against, Surin gets everyone's shares.

Thong indeed is a master poker player, three rounds of RPS with free warrants and each subsequent round more beneficial to him, increasing the warrants issue size l, thus his own entitlement also increased accordingly AND lowering the warrant exercise price, making his final execution even cheaper and all the past 15 years successful depressed Insas market price. He is holding a royal straight flush now.

Dear John, do start early and gather them and tally the number of shares you all collectively hold. If 40 million then you can write to Surin and request for a higher price but be reasonable.

Already June still Bank Negara refuses to approve a deal which is already done and dusted in December? Those LTAT personnel who agreed on the pricing to sell have all resigned back in January. The new Minister of Defense is insisting on higher price for such a sizeable block of Affin shares. The originally agreed price was at around RM2.40 (disclosed in the lastest Edge Weekly as RM2.42). I think LTAT is asking for RM2.60, just a bit more but Sarawak so stingy. So Bank Negara just put everything aside.

Dear John, I suggest you start an email account and ask those who wants to fight for a higher price to contact your email. From there you can gather whether you have sufficient bargaining power of 40 million shares.

From 1 April until now Insas has not reported any disposal of Inari shares. If Insas doesn't sell some Inari shares by end of June the next QR will most probably show a loss. What would happen to Insas share price if they announce a loss for quarter ending 30 June?

Quarter ending 30 June Insas going to take another hit on its investment in Omesti?

I wish to disclose that after having sold at RM1.11 on 20th May I no longer has any share in Insas. However, I may buy tomorrow or next week or if price falls below RM1 ....... or I may never buy Insas again.

If Surin senses that he will not get the 75% acceptance he might revise upwards the offer price but this need to be done BEFORE the EGM convened to vote for the SCR.
2024-05-29 11:22 | Report Abuse
SCR offer price can be revised, that's why I say you minorites need to group together and appoint your spokesman and engage Surin.
2024-05-29 10:42 | Report Abuse
SCR is different from MGO. Market price in a SCR will not go above offer price because if SCR succeeds then the Company is privatized and delisted. In a MGO the offerer may choose to retain listing.

@UncleFollower, buy back what? I am not following.
2024-05-28 22:53 | Report Abuse
Do note that in a SCR if 75% accept the offer of RM1.70 then all of the minority shareholders' shares are automatically acquired. Means you vote No also you lose your shares at RM1.70 UNLESS 10% voted No.
2024-05-28 22:23 | Report Abuse
@MrSslee, there's interesting development at MPHBCap where Surin attempts to privatize the Company via SCR which requires 75% acceptance and not more than 10% opposing.

Kaya, log in to the remote AGM tomorrow and show your displeasure. I am going to do that .
Dear John, if you want to fight for a higher price, then form a group of shareholders to act as one voice to negotiate with Surin. If you can gather a group of shareholders with 44 million shares then collectively this group of shareholders can make or break the offer.
2024-05-28 22:01 | Report Abuse
Dear John, a SCR requires 75% acceptance and not more than 10% opposing. If 10% of the minorites oppose the SCR then it is off. So the chance of a higher revised offer is possible.

Insas has cash over RM1,000,000,000. Microlink loss RM25,000,000 no worries. If Insas sells 7.5 million Inari shares at RM3.40 already more than RM25 million in sales proceeds. Insas selling at 80% discount, hurry and buy.
