I am expecting a mid-March market correction.

I am totally out of Affin and made a gain of around RM70k. Now I am in Bank Islam.

During CNY I met Quek and asked him if he were going to make a hostile takeover of Affin, he laughed and laughed and laughed.

EPF sells Affin to re-balance their bank shares portfolio, moving out of Affin into Bank Islam as EPF funds are now segregated into Shariah and Conventional. More EPF account holders are opting for Shariah.

LTAT is very broke and without selling a block of Affin it would default on Boustead Holdings huge loans.

Sarawak doesn't buy from the open market because they are cheapskate, they want to buy cheaply off the hands of LTAT who desperately need to raise cash because they got trapped into doing a takeover of Boustead Plantation.

A value trap is an undervalued share that never reaches its true value and forever trades far, far below its true value like ...... Insas but that doesn't mean you can't make tons of profits from it. In fact I already made four fold from my original investment in the past 10 years or so. Always buy near the bottom and sell near the top and you will never get trapped. So simple.

Sarawak is paying RM2.40 based on leaked documents.

A waterfall is coming ..... not tomorrow, not next week ......... but it's definitely coming.

Many moons ago, Ah Tong bought Insas at 80 sen, many contrarians followed, speakup followed. Last month Insas reached 1.34/1.35, Ah Tong didn't take profit, don't be like Ah Tong, Ah Tong instead bought Insas-WC at 42 sen.

Last month Ah Tong bought 134,000 Insas-WC at 0.42. Friday Insas-WC closed at 38 sen. Don't be like Ah Tong, buy high, now RM56k stuck.

I think you got the year wrong, it was crashing in May 2023 rather than 2022.

When market sentiment is bullish I normally aim for a minimum gain of 30%.

I have put my Affin sale proceeds into good use by buying BIMB at 2.24 to 2.25 and Cepat at 0.71.

Forum here is rather quiet. I feel BIMB can go far.
