Please don't call me sir, I am much younger than you. I still not able to withdraw my EPF, so I don't have a big position like you. I know you were in the top 30, I think you were in the top 10. The Sabah land would be hard to get rid of, no one wanted it for decades. It was surprising that BPlant bought it, management judgement was really bad. And probably they didn't do a proper diligence audit like IOI did many years earlier which they withdrew from the acquisition.

BPlant still have good land on Peninsular Malaysia to unlock. Their mistake was to buy that piece of Sabah land from Dutaland. Do you know that land was offered to my client many years ago and we did an air survey and found the area underplanted. That's why I sold off my BPlant after the Sabah acquisition.

I still feel Affin has greatest upside because it is so cheap now. A merger exercise will unlock its value. I don't buy for dividend or for safe reason, I buy laggards with huge upside potential. If LTAT were to give up control of Affin it wouldn't go on the cheap.

Netx bought another 8 million MLab shares taking their shareholdings to 19.866%. Fintech owns another 11.2%. Together the combined total is 31.066%, 2% short of MGO.

MLab is buying into digital assets advisory and investment company operating in Taiwan.

Netx and Fintech subscribed for the excess rights a couple of years ago at 15 sen per share. The subscription monies is still substantially with MLab. To gain control of the money Netx might trigger an Mandatory General Offer (MGO) to take its holdings beyond 50%.

Last Friday Netx paid 7 sen for MLab.

Netx bought another 26.5 million MLab shares yesterday taking their shareholdings to 17.181%. Fintech holds another 11.2%. The combined shareholdings is now 28.381%. MGO coming?

MLab has a smaller share capital base compared to Netx, so it takes less volume for the price to move.

Netx bought 24.6 million MLab shares last Friday to increase their holdings to 13.229%.

Actually Netx moved first from half sen to 2.5 sen and is now consolidating at 2 sen level. It was a matter of time before Fintech moved and after that MLab. All three are in the same stable.

Yesterday's volume exceeded 66 million shares. If you go through the list of top 30 shareholders only two shareholders have more than 66 million shares.

What I think is Fintech buying MLab today.
