1. you can never time the market. however, u must read the articles written by so many sifus or what not to be able to know at least a minimum target price given. e.g for supermax i know below rm10 is a good buy because its lots of articles written to give it a price of above rm20. u must learn n educate yourself. be humble n learn

2. you can never catch the lowest price. too fast n furious. hence, just buy from your understanding of the TP above in item 1

3. buying on margin is a double edged sword. if u are experience u can do it. but mostly i think lots of ppl are not..hence you will lose money n learn for the better. however, the thing is..how much can u lose?

4. never ever listen to hearsay or rumors or insiders ...remember u will always be the last cow to be slaughtered. they would have sold first.
best defence? read with an open mind n think logically. there is no such thing as a free lunch. u see any chickens dancing on the road ar??
