Icon8888. It seems the correlation is not apparent when comparing with the price of WTI crude oil and RM from 1 Jan 16 until now. WTI crude oil priced at US 35/barrel on 1 Jan 16 whereas it prices at US 36/ barrel now. When you look at the USD against RM, it was traded at 4.3029 on 1 Jan 16 and dropped to 4.094 now or RM appreciated by about 5%.

We can make a comparison of the regional currencies against USD started in Apr 15. Refer to the data below, the most weakness currency is RM which has been depreciated about 15.6% until now. There is a big gap between Malaysia and other countries was mainly due to political instability rather than economy slowing down. I guess RM will continue to be strengthen against USD since Ahjib has almost settled the 1MDB issue. Confident seems returning gradually witness from the foreign funds inflow from Feb 16.

It's not worth to buy BJCorp if you want see a good QR by this month. What I'm most interested is Vietnam lottery successfully launched in time.

Putting conflict of interest a side, OTB did not have any good reason not to encourage his clients to buy Genetec share. Everything seems so nice in term of revenue and profit growth comparing with last year. If had warned his clients about the company directors disposing shares from Oct 15 to Dec 15, then it's reasonable to presume he would have discharge his duty. Something must be wrong when the directors had disposed more than 40 million shares during that period.

Luckily, this is a Boleh country. His clients would not bring it to the court for claiming losses due to whatever reasons i.e. Negligence, conflict of interests......

Basically, conflict of interest exists between OTB clients and he himself unless he did not hold any Genetec shares (or being a very long term investor) while offering tips. They are competing among themselves to get rid of stock quickly especially during the bearish market. No argument arising during bull market cause most of them are making money on paper. Making profit from Vietnam Toto operation is the matter of time. Investors loves dreams and hope. The license awarded is just in time to give BJcorp a boost. Investors would be laughing at the dream given the market potential of 90 million population in a country. It could attract more funds to consider investing in BJCorp. What they want is future growth of the company. On top of that, BJCorp is big enough to cater sizable of funds invested.
