Cheap crude oil price would give a boost to the world powerful economy countries like US, China & Japan. The world is heading to the right track of achieving higher economy growth. Msia would certainly reap the benefits of the growth but we have take the pinch of low crude oil price first. KLCI index is bound to head south to reflect instability of the economy.

MKH has nothing to shout at this moment. Unbilled sales would last for 12 months only. Plantation segment hit by low CPO prices. Exposure in USD borrowing equivalent to RM 278 million. High borrowing and low dividend yield. PER stays in upper level.

It's not a good move to diversify into O&G at this moment. The management team should concentrate in plantation exploiting more opportunity in this sector.

Tenaga is not that really expensive relatively comparing with other big caps but there are a number factors like EPF seems stop accumulating, foreign gain from JPY cushions by appreciating USD, RM against USD may slide further as crude oil price drop again. The last rally was probably due to devaluation of JPY that started in mid Oct 14. JPY was devalued about 10% in less than 2 months. Tenaga has been enjoying more profit from the devaluation since its borrowing in JPY stands at RM 3.3 billon. It suddenly hit a snag after crude oil crashed and followed by a weakness in RM against USD.

MUFJ has reduced its holding gradually since early last year due to unfavourable future prospect. Will the current trend prevail?

CIMB's " Allowance made for impairment losses on loans, advances and financing / Profit before allowances " hit peak in year 2006 before trending downward in the following year. It stopped sliding and reached bottom in year 2012 before started reversing upward trend. Investors would expect more bad news in its earnings for coming 12 months.

Tenaga trades at PER 12 times or almost half comparing with other sectors of index component like telecommunications, plantation, medical, gaming & oil and gas. It may support KLCI all the way up to cushion the correction of market due to lacklustre earnings of other big cap.

The main concern is CIMB Niaga may post lower profits due to high NPL. NPL rise to 3.4% from 2.3% last year. It has been trending upward since Dec 2012.

Indonesia's business environment remains challenging due to growing NPL. Investors would expect CIMB to announce another lower earnings for 4th quarter results.
