FQ1'18 result sure return to black due to loss damage from fire in FQ1'17.
However, short term investors will have more concern of FQ2'18 result coz compensation from insurance claim has push up FQ2'17 bottom line...

China Tower Corp is going for HK IPO in late 2017 or early 2018. If it were to sell a 10%-20% stake in IPO, the deal could raise between US$5b - US$10b.

Whereas OCK own construct tower unit cost is around 70k.

For contact lens business, gross margin is very high and can reach as high as 50%. But in terms of Net Profit, it depend on how they manage the company...
For better undestanding on this business, it is advisable to spend sometime looking for other pure contact lens listed company in the world as a guideline...

This type of restructuring will take time at least 3 QR. Price will jump when it is qualify to withdraw from PN17....

Correction = ....can go for 3 bonus shares for every 2 shares hold....

The spike will be temperary as the glove demand in Africa is not huge...

OCK has huge share premium and can go for 2 bonus share for every 3 shares held. OCK-wa is worth looking if interested.

If Comfort figure x 5, then become:

c) Share px = RM3.60 ( 30% lower than TG) why???

my friend is looking a bit long term on this counter and hopefully Comfort can copy what TopGlove did for the past 10 years. That is invested RM100 this year, after 10 years later can receive dividend RM100 per year.

Estimated their Q report release date:

Harta = before 15/May ( can it be today??)
Kossan = after 20/May
TGlove = Mid Jun
Comfort = End Jun + AGM

How much glove counter can up is depend on those funds pushing up the price.
You can notice that when these big funsd start buying, we can read suddently positive news from the paper.....

What he said is he wanted to be world top 5 contact lens suppliers. I think he can achieve that but we need to look at the volume.

Riverstone, glove company listed in Spore w factory in Msia reported good CQ1 result yesterday. Mb this indicate that glove companies are doing pretty good.....

Today glove counters are moving uptrend a bit mb due to positive result from riverstone which is listed in Spore with factory in Msia.

Big fund like Unit trust companies is just like us, keep looking for good result in their portfolio.
So When Oil crash in 2015, those fund were selling most of their O&G portfolio and switch to other industries like Furniture & Semi Con for positive return.

No matter how, these fund have to find a way to create positive return to:
a) investors / shareholders
b) themselves for better bonus n salary increament from company.

So it is our job or responsibility to find companies with good return before their action.

OCK AGM might be on 24-May. I think they are going to release Q1 result in mid-May and it should be good result so that investors will be happy during AGM. Hopefully.

OCK is one of the stock pick in RHB list...

All the investors in the market are looking at TopGlove as guideline for glove counter.
If Top Glove share price cannot perform, so do others.

It seems like there is a big fund selling down TopGlove and how low it can go, nobody knows.
Market expect to touch 4.55 before rebound in 2nd week of May to support the expected good quarterly result which will be released in Mid Jun.

For Comfort Glove, the worst critical situation they faced was in Mar and Jun last year when their factory was destroyed by fire with negative quarterly result caused by fire. And their share price touch 60sen during that period.

So now the company situation should be better then last year......

Assuming FY17 EPS is 4 sen and per PE ratio of 30 times, OCK price will be RM1.20.

Flintstones, yes, agree with you but OCK is only tower company listed in KLSE. Edotco which is under Axiata was not listed. So information is very limited for small investor like me to make direct comparison with edotco.

The only way I can do is to plug the information from here and there .....

Based on newspaper information, KWAP is paying RM3.22/share in edotco.
Per Axiata information, edotco FY17 revenue will be RM1.61bil.
Assume net profit margin is 10% of revenue = RM161mil.

If based on KWAP 5.4% share buy, total edotco share will be 2.530bil share.
Then EPS=MYR 6.36sen.

Then PE ration for KWAP = 50.6.

Just sharing. Can ignore if not accurate...

From the above calculation, 100% share means RM8.200b.

Total owned towers = 17,054 units.
So 1 tower = RM480k.

If apply this figure to OCK based on 3,000 towers = RM1,440mil.
Today OCK market cap = RM770mil.
