CG 2017 Annual report shown that EPF only have abt 1% holding.

EPF is always look for business that provide growth and good capital return in long term. Juz imagine if EPF increase their stake to more than 5%, what will be the price??

If CG need fund for quick expansion, the best way is to go for loan + private placement:
[a] Loan
= CG FQ2 QR shown cash was 14mil and borrowing was 14mil. I expect their loan will increase to 35m by FQ4.

= PP is good as they can select good investors and what will happen to the price if they allocate the PP to Brahmal, KYY and EPF!!

Comfort definitely need fund for expansion in CY2018 and the following years just like what TopGlove did few years after listing. There are 3 possibilities way to get extra fund:

[a] Bonus issue + warrant
[b] Right issue + bonus issue (share + warrant).
[c] 10% of Private place.

This is bcoz operating cashflow is insufficient to support the quick expansion and they need to do it quickly before TopGlove, Kossan, Harta n Supermax expansion completed in 2018-2020 period of time to capture more market share.

Good sharing. Still have to make sure Dufu has the cap ( unless they still have 30% idle cap to support) to absorb the extra order as nobody will buy so many additional CNC machines keep idling in the factory waiting misfortune happen to competitors.

There is enough supply of new CNC machines in the market. It is not the problem to get new CNC machines.

The problems are:
[a] Do they have vacant big building to install new machines and set up new lines?
[b] If they have such a building, how long is the preparation for new line to start production?
[c] How about approval from local authorities like Bomba department....?
[d] How about those ISO audit- how long are they going to complete it?
[e] How about Customers audit- do their customers still give full trust on this supplier?
etc....

Dufu is their closest competitor but don't think they have sufficient additional capacity to absorb the quantity from Notion. The industry need few vendors to support the 500 CNC machines output. Some of them might be MMI (Spore), Brilliant (Spore), Nidec (Jpn)...

Try not to take risk on this counter. Electronic industry is very particular on quality control.
Although they can rebuild their production line after 9 month, they still need to apply for so many certificate like ISO Quality, ISO Environment, need to go thru so many quality audits, Customers approved FA, then have to build customer confidence on their future order.....
