There is now clarity & certainty for Vietnam IPP.
Between now and its projected COD ( april/may 2020),there is a price gap of 2.00 - 1.16=0.84 =72% !!
Where else can we get such a lucrative ROI in such short period ?
For me, i would add further whenever & wherever i have spare cash !
For those of us who can see & smell it, do not miss the opp !!
Optimistically,it can go beyond 2.00 once COD is
officially announced !!

If power plant earnings are not subject to tax in Vietnam in 1st 4 years , logically its distributions to Jaks ( in the form of dividend(s) will not be subject to tax ( witholding tax ) in Vietnam .
When Jaks receives remittance in M'sia from Vietnam , this income ( foreign source income ) will not be subject to M'sia income tax .
Law: Para 28, Schedule 6, ITA 1967

LOCAL VERSUS FOREIGN SOURCED INCOME
Malaysia’s tax system is territorial. Under Section 3 of the Income Tax Act 1967, it provides that only income that is accruing in or derived from Malaysia is subject to tax , and income remitted to Malaysia from outside Malaysia is not subject to tax. In ongoing efforts to encourage Malaysian businesses to venture overseas and thereafter repatriate their profits to Malaysia, the government has, since 1995, introduced various legislations for tax exemptions. Foreign-sourced income is not subject to tax in Malaysia, although tax is levied on worldwide income for certain activities, such as banking, insurance, and air and sea transport operations. Unless profits or gains are attributed directly to activities conducted outside Malaysia, they are assumed to be derived from Malaysia. Thus, the burden is on the company or branch to prove which part of its income is foreign sourced.



The current law is provided in Paragraph 28, Schedule 6 of the Act which exempts from tax,

“… income of any person, other than a resident company carrying on the business of banking, insurance or sea or air transport, for the basis year for a year of assessment derived from sources outside Malaysia and received in Malaysia.”

The word “source” is not defined in the Act and guidance is often sought from case laws. However, the derivation of business income is further dealt with under Section 12(1)(a) of the Act. This section deems an item of income to be derived from Malaysia, hence taxable in Malaysia, unless it can be proven that the income is attributable to the operations of the business carried on in a foreign country (outside Malaysia).



From the year 2000, there were a few cases under appeal to the courts against the Inland Revenue Board’s challenge of the treatment of income received by taxpayers as foreign sourced income: Cardinal Health Malaysia 211 Sdn Bhd and Kyros International Sdn Bhd. are two of the most remarkable cases that shall be studied.

As far as i know, M'sia 's tax system is based on territorial basis , meaning only income derived from M'sia is taxable . Income sourced from outside M'sia & received in M;sia is tax exempt in M'sia
Thus, distributions received from Vietnam power plant by Jaks should be exempt from M'sia income tax .

If i missed the opp entry Buy Signal on 6/9/2019 ( meaning i missed the boat on 6/9/2019)
And i like this uptrending stock.
I can use another indicator MACD to help me identify the entry buy signal,that is the MACD golden cross to catch the next upswing ( provided the SMA 20 line is still above SMA 70 line ).

Golden Cross Buy signal on 6/9/2019 is 0.68.
I bought it at 0.70.
No Golden Cross Sell signal yet, very far away.

Between MFCB's IPP & Jaks's IPP , the completion time gap & commissioning is only months apart .

PAT of the power plant as high as RM160 mil when unit 1 and unit 2 start operating.

TP RM2 by 2020 and TP RM4 by 2021 based on higher PE give to Jaks due to improving cash flow & improving balance sheet. I think like that.
