As mentioned earlier, the BornOil group now intends to proceed with excavation and mining on the 1st Zone via an outsourcing business structure with a contractor to be appointed shortly.

Today is the listing of the 329m new shares from the private placement. Good to see share price remains stable. With the completion of the private placement and the net cash position, we can expect to see some positive announcement of their new limestone factory in Lahad Datu, Sabah. Positive for share price.

See today announcement - private placement of 329mil shares at 3.2 sen completed. This means the company has just received cash proceeds of RM10.528m, more than sufficient for them to commission the new limestone plant. The ESOS was completed earlier and they would have received some cash proceeds too. I personally think the share prices will move up from now onwards. Correct me if I am wrong.

The warrant price is tumbling down....run before it is too late.

On the surface the latest qtr results look great. But if you look deeper, the profit was mainly due to reversal of write-down of inventories without which the results actually not good. I bought at 2.02 but when I realised the issue, i quickly dumped at 2.05. No loss, luckily. Lesson learnt, dont buy hastily.

Huatexpert QR profit increased mainly due to reversal of write-down of inventories to net
realisable value of RM 102.7 million in Q2 2020.

Without this reversal of write down, seem like it still registered loss even at lower raw material cost.
