Glad to see more and more people promoting the stock.

Chill guys. Wait for the quarterly report and make your own judgement later. Buy in during that time won't be too late.

MC, yes I will be buying systematically. I have been reminding myself, after so much things the Company has executed, partnerships they have made, products they have launched and deals they sealed, the Company's valuation in future, should be higher than it is now. Best of luck to you as well and hope that you will remain steadfast in your investment principles in GHLSYS. I hope your foresight and patience will be rewarded soon enough.

If I continue my buying spree, my investment portfolio for this stock may easily exceed 50% of my total holdings, which is a rare scenario throughout my investment life. I will be buying on a staggard basis, when the price falls below a threshold I have identified. I know the pros and cons trading in and out, riding the waves as well as pros and cons staying fundamental and trade infrequently but more heavily committed to a stock. I've been through both times, exciting and rough and now I stand firm to my new principles.

I'm basically not completely shocked by the violent movement in price on this stock, from a stable 0.76 to 1.08 and now back to 0.76, approximately 30% variance, but to be honest I was at times, momentarily deluded. Share buybacks from the Company would be a good opportunity for the Company to stabilize the price.

Staying fundamental like Warren Buffett is not an easy task. He once saw his share went up from $10 to $82 and dropped back to $6, and now trading twice his cost. That company is BYD. Throughout that violent movement, he did not budge one bit and I salute that wisdom. If we know very well what we're doing, the reward from such patience is tremendously rewarded. Just look at Coca-Cola, GEICO and P&G. If we made a mistake due to unforeseen events beyond our control, we move on. But how many times can a fundamentally good company with bright prospects and executed plans have such hidden events, though I must admit there are such cases.

I've always ask myself this. Am I really going to be rich by trading and reading charts without deep study on fundamentals of the company? I seem to think so previously but somehow, there is an unexplainable gut feel telling me that it's not going to work out the way I wanted in the long-term, based on my personality (I'm not saying others can't). Those gut feels were, I can't be lucky all the time, what if there is a moment where I lost the bet in a big way. Based on my personality, I want to be investing in a Company that will be profitable in the long run, generating good cash with minimal assets and good management that cares for shareholders, not a Company that its stock price will be surging soon and hopefully I can get out just in time before it declines again.

Definitely being a fundamentalist, patience is a killer word here no one likes to listen but unfortunately, its a hard and bitter truth. Have we all experienced that we could have made so much more had we added a little more patience? Which is also why no one can be so easily rich. Common investors will always be common investors when everyone is just common. Uncommon investors will be facing many odds against them, noises which may influence their decision or principles, opportunity costs which time and again vanished right in front of their eyes. If all these emotional disturbances and mental distractions can be sweeped aside and just make a decision based on hard and cold heart, I'm sure such a firm style will be very rewarding.

For those that bought this stock at a higher price, do not be disappointed. Provided you hold long enough to wait for several quarter results and good news along the way, you will definitely be rewarded. There will be ups and downs along the way, like any other stocks but stay focused with your initial reasons to purchase this stock and only sell if those initial reasons have been violated or no longer applicable.

Good luck.

Wait for quarter results. If good and price is still attractive, buy more and hold. Usually GHLSYS is quite slow to reaction to any news. From what I observed it will go up or down all in a sudden but not on news, surprisingly.

Doens't matter the results. It wont be a big leap unless I miss out something. What we need is some strong management plan to expand the business further, possibly diversifying their businesses a little. I'm hoping for some news, rather than silence from the board. Hopefully the management is serious in what they are doing.

Regardless of whatever "technical experts" says here, I'm buying based on facts, management competence and future of the industry. It doesn't make any difference profiting now or months/years later, but better to profit months/years later when the profits are larger.

I've never seen anyone making millions of dollars by just actively trading as a part-time job recently (not talking about those days during the mid 90s). But I've known many that became filthy rich by buying stocks, holding them for a couple of years and repeating this method over a decade, and now they don't really bother to work or not. For now, they are having a nice bungalow, a nice Audi, good paying jobs at quite a senior position. They trade less than 10 times a year.

Of course trading has its good side, the excitement. But I know for a fact trading usually goes in small volumes, hoping to profit frequently at a low capital. For those with long-term goals, they buy the company as though they're running the company with the managers, going through thick and thin.

I have vested interests in this counter and this counter contributes more than 36% of my portfolio, largest in the porfolio. I wouldn't mind adding more if the price is right. In any circumstances, the PE isn't that high if we do not take into account of the one-off costs, which is only 28. After acquisition it would go lower.

Basically I'm buying on the bright future of the industry in ASEAN and management competency, nothing more or less. I'm taking a bit of risks here with the amount of capital I put in, but well, life becomes more exciting and meaningful with some calculated risks.

I have been accumulating since the downtrend from rm1. Was si grateful I was given another chance to own this counter at a lower price now. Thus far, the future growth and potential of this company is unquestionable and could be a billion dollar company in years to come. However, this company stock prices has been rigged by syndicates, resulting in many genuine investors being scared off and irritated. They are taking the opportunity to this while results are still not out yet and while price is still trading at a high PE. Those that are less patient would have backed out, feeling frustrated and hopeless. But if you're one wise investor looking at the long term, keep a cash pile to buy more when there is a sell down if you know the intrinsic value of thus company. I like that now the management has stepped in and come out with a share buy back scheme.

Its a good idea to buy in now before the large institutional investors want a piece of this. Any price below 90 cents is a bargain now. If you guys decide to buy this be prepared to wait for the synergy to happen.

Instaco is expanding but at a more organic way. This company is for the patient people. Ock's pe is just too high right now to buy when there is a cheaper alternative for similar business. Instaco has been quiet these days and investors are slowly forgetting this stock. That's when people should buy, where prices are super cheap and high safety margin.

By my standards, redtone is utilizing its assets well, thus there is no way iming to sell the company. The results once again is improving Q-o-q and earnings are consistent. Many new projects and businesses are still at infancy stage, hence there are lots of potential for the company in 2 to 3 years to come. While its valuation is still cheap, it makes perfect sense to buy now and hold.

We all know censof will gain from the gst rollout. But no one is patient enough to wait for that to happen. People want money now and hence ridiculously willing to forgo good opportunities just because they are not able to wait. That's what differentiates common investors from uncommon investors. Could this be another myeg or presbhd? Possibly as they things censof do for the government is very niche hence high barriers of entry. Synergies may come in from the acquisition of Time as well, which is a whole new picture that we have not taken into account.

I think the companies I mentioned like eah, redtone and censof are relatively young and small. The room for growth and diversification is much larger compared to larger companies.

Anyways lets stick to ghlsys related topics.

You must be able to differentiate between internet bubble normal tech company. EAH and Censof are just doing normal business where contracts are important. However Censof's business will be sustainable when OBB and GST softwares are out, just like Prestariang and MYEG.

Hi steven, for censof, growth is exponential most likely towards 2H onwards, with gov agencies start to switch to gst softwares. 2bh i'm more bullish with the obb project and knowledge IT subsi of censof.

For redtone, upside is not limited yet as data penetration is still low in msia compared to south korea, esp in east of msia. Redtone is also slowly moving into new areas of data related biz, like teleradiology and most interestingly data centres. The potential for the latter will be much larger.

For eah, I didnt invest that much, but I'm particularly bullish on a relatively new and small start up company. In just last year it obtained huge contracts awards higher than its market cap. N you can notice management is aggressive to push further with another acquisition via rights issues. Hence with such a low price now, it makes sense to buy large units at a low price now while it's still undervalued. U know how well a company will do when they acquire the right company. Eah was nothing before acquiring dsbb.

I used to have nexgram too but already disposed off as I find I could invest my money in better companies at this juncture.

As for Ghl, it needs no introduction. Solid company just waiting for the moment.

On why tech related, well, I think that's because of GST and E-payments theme that will slowly change our country's economy landscape. I have sumatec and kimlun as well, but not my core stocks. If you see my stock selection I'm pretty much a 100℅ growth investor.

Don't worry. Trust me, you just need to wait for the rights issues to be completed. Then good news will come soon after that. No one will issue rights issues without any plans already in placed. There must already be an acquisition target in which they are interested. It's just pending the completion of rights issues.

Mc, your thought process is very impressive and I believe u learnt them from your investment in ghlsys. I have done enough research that I can and that's the most I could do , anything beyond that is out of my control.

In life to be successful, risks MUST be taken. Note that I emphasized must. When you have enough confidence and that downside risks are minimal after research, I believe what's left is the courage and most importantly patience.

MC, thanks for sharing your experience. I am aware of the experience, but at the same time I'm adopting a very long-term view. If the quarter results are out, I would assess my decision based on the price at that time. I am ready to give this stock a one year timeframe from first quarter results and at the same time be ready to be less active in the stock market.

As I've done heavy research on this stock very throughly, I'm ready to be ruthless for once in my investment life. I'm particularly in favor of the share buyback policy and felt that management is ready to step in when prices are terribly rigged.

Oh well, will see how it turns out in one year from June onwards. In the timeframe, i will not be trading in and out. I will keep holding as long as there is no fundamental failure in the company. Hopefully the journey will be a pleasant one.

I think i will keep this stock in KIV, until a stable recovery is seen. There is no reason why it will fall so much without any news.

Despite so many good news surrounding the industry, the price is still so undervalued, just because Thomas Ngu sold of his warrants and some mother shares.

I think this company needs to give some reassurance back to the public on what it is currently doing and not just keep quiet and keep the shareholders waiting. On the next AGM, shareholders will surely question them on what is their direction right now.

From what I observed for several months, this company is slow and steady, just like Gadang and Malton during the past few months where prices are stagnant and people are getting impatient with the stock. When the most pessimism occurs, that is the time where these company will jump and shock many investors that had left.

Well, I won't be trading in and out for this stock as I'm not sure when the jump will happen. Will hold this through the end of this year and reassess again based on the news flows, as I'm very bullish on GST and e-payment for this year and especially next year. Added more positions in GHLSYS today as the price has came back down a bit.

Good luck and cheers to everyone.

Good luck and cheers to everyone.

This company has all it takes for a higher valuation. The PE is low, earnings are consistent and increasing quarter by quarter, ROE is good, future is bright and most importantly management is competent.

It's just a matter of time the market realizes this and reflects this on the price. This happened to Gadang and Malton. Many impatient investors exited as they could wait no longer, with more tempting stocks out there that they could speculate.

I'm not satisfied with the paper gains I have right now, although its moderate I would say. Hence, I will be giving this stock a longer timeframe for it to prove itself, hopefully by the end of this year. I believe with such a high safety margin, this stock will have limited downside but a much higher room for the upside, as I've always mention, this company is a growth stock at a reasonable price.

Stock

2014-04-24 11:26 | Report Abuse

I have funds allocated to buy in more if the price drops further. I'm pretty confident in the deliverables of this company considering the various plans panned out and execution is ongoing.

I have calculated that the PE will reduce drastically once in the coming quarter as the acquisition has completed. Will reduce further for every quarter due to consolidated earnings. And if GHLSYS is able to magnify its earnings by operational synergy from cost selling and with new product launches to overseas, this stock is pretty much a good buy.
