I always worry when everyone is so confident about an upcoming result. In most cases so far, it always becomes a LEMON. A most recent example is LB Aluminium. Many forumers kena whacked left, right n centre.

All this write-ups commenting on the possibility of CREC-IWH having a 2nd chance in bagging this BM project does not excite me coz it is purely speculative and its impact shortlived.

What will really drive prices that is sustainable over a longer duration will be a simple confirmation / statement from MOF or TSLKH / IWH that CREC / IWH has submitted a bid for the BM project. This will be enough to maybe even drive IWCity's shares to limit-up and sustainable at least until the results of the successful bidder(s) are announced.

This is the most important ingredient that is missing.

Jefflim1234, so sorry for the late reply. Was busy cleaning house on Friday evening and had family gatherings the whole weekend.

No, I am not a newbie. Been in the stock market for many years but have not really learned sufficiently the art of investing. I am also compulsive in my stock trading which has lead to serious losses previously.

I deeply regretted only reading your comments posted on July 20, 2017 only now and missed an opportunity to top up. As I have very limited capital, I can't afford to average down. Hence the next best thing would be to buy just before it surged and it really did on July 21, 2017.

And as luck would have it, I missed the boat on Friday morning due to unforeseen circumstances. Hahaha!

Anyway, I am still glad that I have managed to hang on to Alcom without trying to time the market. This is due to YOURS, yuanlong57 and LPTan68 and other Alcomates' efforts in disseminating information unselfishly to be shared with all Alcom forumers. For that. I am really grateful to you all. Hope you all would continue to be active in disseminating such information / knowledge to us here.

Yes forgot090, I know that I buy at my own risk. And I won't blame others for my losses UNLESS they specifically n strongly keep URGING other forumers to buy without basis n with set target price. When the price keep dropping after the ex-date, I never make noises here except once or twice where I expressed my concern on the prices sliding down. That's all.

Those ppl that I mentioned earlier, they actually go at length to share information that is useful for forumers to digest and give them an idea of what they might be getting into. And of course CAVEAT EMPTOR n TAYOR.

Anyway, let's all hope that next week will be even better for Alcom. August is just round the corner. This uptrend, if it continues, may mean that positive news on the capital repayment may be announced pretty soon.

Not actually resign la. Reassigned to Ajinomoto's other offices within the Group. This is normal for all MNCs. Carlsberg, Panamy, Heineken,BAT you name it. All reshuffle their top management every few years. No impact on the company's operations so why will share price drop?
