Can you explain why Hibiscus-WC and not Hisbiscus?
Hisbiscus price on 31th Dec 2018 RM 0.84. Highest closing year 2018 is RM 1.28 on OCT 2 and Brent crude oil price at that date is USD 85.63/barrel
Hisbiscus-WC price on 31th Dec 2018 RM 0.425. Exercise Price: RM 1.00 Maturity Date: Mar 18 2021. Price on Oct 2 2018 is RM 0.50.
By the end of 31th Dec 2019 the Hisbiscus-WC only has another 15 months 18 days before expired. Isn’t it saver to invest now in Mother rather than the WC?

According to our discussion, Mr Ooi said that the target price of Hibiscus is more important than premium.
According to Mr Ooi's calculation, he assumes the price of Hibiscus to hit 2.00 in 2019.
If Hibiscus hits 2.00, the ROI is 138%.
If Hibiscus hits 2.00, the price of Hibiscus-WC is 1.20 assuming a 10% premium. The ROI is 182%.
This is a competition, Mr Ooi wants a high ROI and also high gearing.
Mr Ooi can buy 2,000 of Hibiscus-WC instead of 1,000 of Hibiscus.

Making money is secondary, the most important is to protect capital first.
Once you do not have capital, you will disappear from stock market permanently.

You are 100% correct I think.
Divide our investments into Property, FD and share investment are a better strategy.
When the stock market is bearish, it is better to put money into FD.
When bull market appears again, withdraw from FD to load the stock market is a better move. Invest in share in a bull market will definitely able to cover the interest earned from FD.

If you looked at what otb sifu had written, even sifus after some, they will suffered losses too but he locked in those profit by buying properties instead of all in shares.

May be it is good to get out of a bear market completely for a while to protect capital. If we got out in Feb 2018, we should save a lot of our capital loss.

I think we need to realise that the 10 year cycle phenomena will always come with a major crisis or correction cycle. The 1987, 1997-98, 2007-08 and potentially 2018-2019 which we are entering soon. I lived long enough to see all those crisis/recession period and for every of those events comes along with strong economic recovery. Guys, maybe some of you were not born yet during those events and maybe some of you have forgotten what it was like during those period that the pain you feel now seems so unreal. This is not a local issue, if you care to read the papers, the world market started to see some corrections due to many external events such as Trade War, Collapse of Crude Oil prices, The China's economic slowing momentum, Brexit in early 2019, Rising interest rates in the US despite the reducing yield curve between long and short term treasuries, and so many more! And despite all this, you want to expect KLSE to shoot to the sky thinking all is good and dandy?? Blaming the govt, blaming the analysts, blaming the gurus, blaming the fortune-tellers?? Time to wake up to world events guys!
