From the results, we can see that Lay Hong revenue and profit has been somewhat cushioned by its other revenue stream e.g. NH JV than just relying on table eggs and broilers. Hence, the small profit and maintaining the revenue. Should the table eggs and broilers price recover, it would boost Lay Hong revenue and profit and with the ramping up of the NH JV production, this could bring in additional revenue and profit in Lay Hong. The market yet to value Lay Hong in such potential and still value Lay Hong as just a pure table eggs and broiler company.

I have been buying Lay Hong eggs for years from Nutriplus to normal table eggs. So far no issue. Yet to buy the newly packaging "Jumbo eggs" though. Anyway rotten eggs can be caused during the end2end logistic chain. Not necessary caused by the farm.

the production in Port Klang plant only commenced in November and take time to ramp up. The last result was for Q1 2019. Look forward to Q2, Q3 and Q4 2019 results to reflect the JV expansion.

not over supply but normalize back as it usually take 6 months cycle for the industry to normalize back eggs production after any bird flu disease. Last year in Q4, some farms in Sabah were affected by bird flu and the eggs production drop.
