Mrcb didn't surge. It was a technical rebound due to Dji and trade war fear in Feb and Mar. These 2 events dragged mrcb down from 1.20 to 0.85. In fact, MRCB has not even recover from these and with HSR project now, it should goes above rm1.3. there is still a discount of 0.25 now due to delay in EDL compensation details and election.

Today is the 8th trading days of no movement and ranging from 1.03-1.06. Two pending details, EDL compensation details ( no date has been given except within 12 months which means could be in December) and HSR details (3 weeks from issue of LI which fall on 26 April)

With that, next week should have some movement due to HSR details. Movement could mean uptrend or downtrend.

Those who keep saying RI must be newbies in this MRCB. MRCB has raised RI back in October 2017 and from there they have raised around 2 Billion. Next EPF is injecting another 1.13 Billion for the shares in Bukit Jalil. EDL has been disposed and with the worst case scenario gained nothing from it but slashed 1.17 billion debts from it. By being PDP, it's not that MRCB has to inject 50 billion to build the HSR. They only involved in Project Management for good sake. Infra building is another tender and those involve the bidders from Japan, China, Korea, etc. Those are the big players who going to need lot of capital to build the HSR infra.
