There is no reason why anyone should vote for BN - all along they have been cheating , swindling , telling lies, they have no good intention to rule the country but everyone in BN are there to make money for themselves - the poor rakyat remains poor and is getting worst day by day after the election . After the election Najib and Co., are all out to teach a lesson to all the voters just because they vote for the opposition. Even Mukris has openly told the Kedahans why must he support financially to all those who have voted out BN . The only way to teach these morons a lesson is vote them out terribly. Make them lose further. Under Pas rule there wasn't any swindling but now the mother of all swindlers son is here to continue his father's legacy.

Dear PM,
If your aim is to reduce our country's huge debts, there are plenty of ways to achieve just that. You could stop all your multibillion useless projects, or cut your budget, or workout to earn back every sen that has been swindled by those people in your cabinet and those in power before you. Please do not justify cut in subsidy and new tax system. We are way too smart to digest those BS.
Thank you.

Anwar reminds Malays that Umno has kept them poor
SG LIMAU At every stop he made in the Sg Limau by-election campaign yesterday, Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim sought to defend his remarks on the controversial Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Anwar said he was approached by people who watch TV3, which showed him supporting the new taxation system the federal government plans to implement in April 2015.
“I asked these people, why do you watch such media? These are malicious agents (agen fitnah),” he said in his ceramah last night.
“The GST taxation system is indeed efficient, but what we said is: Unless the overall system is good, we should not implement the new tax,” he explained.
“And we should not do it unless there is an increase in the price of padi, which has not increased in 23 years,” he added.
anwar ibrahim speaks in dulang besar at sg limau by-electionThe PKR supremo made four stops yesterday – Kg Selengkoh, Sg Limau Dalam, Simpang Tiga and Dulang Besar – and each time, he was greeted by large crowds.
These areas, including the one in Sg Limau Dalam where the MCA operation centre is located, are dubbed “keras” (hard), meaning there are strong BN supporters in the midst.
But Anwar tailored his speech to appeal to the 93 percent Malay voters in Sg Limau by asking them why the majority community supports the likes of Umno when they have been kept poor for decades.
“They (leaders) shout ‘Long live Umno’, but they are actually afraid of the tycoons. Whose companies are earning millions? Whose oil companies are making millions? These are companies belonging to children or cronies of Umno leaders,” he said.
“Then they give you RM500 (BR1M) and you kiss their hands,” lamented Anwar, mimicking the hand-kissing gesture, drawing laughter from the crowd.
“Don’t you have young people here in Sg Limau or Kedah who are smart, who are accountants or lawyers, who can do the job? Why don’t they have the same opportunities (like the children of ministers)?” he queried.
Padi prices stagnant for 23 years
Anwar said he has irked the authorities by bringing up these issues time and again, both in public and in Parliament. And for that, he was condemned, arrested and accused of sexual misconduct.
“But if I as a former deputy prime minister, who has gone round the world, cannot speak up, then do you expect the poor kampung people to do so?” he queried.
“Sometimes they say I play with women, then they say I play with men, and maybe in Sg Limau, they will say I play with cows,” he said, drawing another round of laughter from the crowd, many of whom are farmers.
NONEAnwar was referring to Wanita Umno chief Shahrizat Abdul Jalil for her alleged involvement in the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) scandal involving cattle-breeding.
He reminded the padi farmers in Sg Limau of their poverty, saying that while the Youth and Sports Ministry could dish out RM67 million for K-Pop singers for National Youth Day last year, the government has nothing for them.
“The government cannot even raise the price of padi by 20 sen more,” he said. “And while the price of padi stays stagnant for 23 years, the prices of food, petrol and sugar have gone up several times,” he added.
“Still you shout ‘Hidup Melayu’. Indeed, it doesn’t make sense,” he teased, urging the crowd to take whatever BN goodies come their way but vote for PAS on polling day next Monday.
The Nov 4 Sungai Limau by-election is a straight fight between Mohd Azam Abd Samat from PAS and Dr Ahmad Sohaimi Lazim from Umno.
The state seat fell vacant after the death of former Kedah MB Azizan Abdul Razak, who had won this rural constituency for PAS three times. – Malaysiakini

Why are Malays obsessed with SUPREMACY? Is it brainwashing or their own insecurity?
The options for Malays
While the option for Malays might be to seek redress in the alternative front of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) there are certain drawbacks as shown in the run-up and post 13th GE. PR is not only a viable option for Malays but for the Chinese and Indian community as well.
The drawbacks for Malaysians in relying and putting their trust in PR is that they are a disjointed side with disagreements that have not caused them to come together but to emerge splintered.
This is why while a sizeable portion of voters, especially in East Malaysia, see PR as a viable alternative the attractiveness is diminished by the fact that the opposition coalition suffers from disunity.
This is the only reason why BN and UMNO are still in power. But If PR is able to be united and to be in consensus this will pave the way for Malaysians to opt for them as the political force of the future. But the fact is the rift within the three parties within PR is quite serious.
This definitely does put the future of Malaysians in limbo as to their political direction and leadership. They appear to be caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.
The Malays in particular are the real community that is suffering from the backlash between BN and PR like the Malay proverb: “Gajah sama gajah berjuang, pelanduk mati ditengah-tengah” (The elephant fights with the elephant but it is the deer that is caught in between that dies)
Ever since the emergence of PR as a formidable political force, the nation of Malaysia has been in a state of flux as there is a pull by BN and a push by PR at the same time. This has caused no real growth and instead what has transpired is that the nation has stagnated.
Malays hold the key by being in the majority
It is really the Malays by virtue of being the largest group by race that have the strength in numbers to really call the shots. But unfortunately so far they have failed to use their pulling power to vote and to choose and decide for themselves the people that will be able to move them forward.
This is the reason for Malaysia going around in circles and not moving forward in this New Millennium. Malays have to be brave and honest and truthful in wanting to advance and prosper in life and the only way they can do so is to subscribe fully to the tenets and obligations of democracy.
Only by calling a spade a spade and by playing to the rules of the game can the Malays and other races in this country cause Malaysia to move forward and become a Great Nation. The way forward is to shun evil politics and the politics of deceit and go by those who uphold integrity and honesty.
This is the only way Malaysia can drag itself out of the throes of being a failed state. It is really up to the Malays and they hold the key to decide if Malaysia succeeds or fails. It is therefore advisable for them to think rationally, with their heads on their shoulders, and learn to move forward with the other races or face doom.
----------------
and now cannot win a debate, start using religion...why why why? And when the non-Muslims say something on Islam, then you all UMNO Malays will say 'the non-Muslims never respect Islam"?????? Aren't the non-Muslims our brothers & sisters too??? Please for goodness say, don't try to quote religion when you cannot debate. I as a Malay-sian never do this, so why should you????..thank you.
PS...if you want to say anything or debate anything like a TRUE GENTLEMEN, then do so in a nice way & NO NEED TO QUOTE ISLAMIC VERSES,.....I guess it's what these UMNO Malays are good at??? thank you.

Pua: Sugar hike due to sweet new deal, not subsidy cut
By Syed Jaymal Zahiid
October 29, 2013
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 — Putrajaya’s sugar subsidy cut was a move aimed at concealing a deal it signed to import sugar at a price way above market rate in 2012, DAP leader Tony Pua said today.
The Petaling Jaya Utara MP accused the government of lying about its justification behind the subsidy slash, claiming consumers could still buy sugar at a much lower price without the cuts if the deal was not inked.
The subsidy cut has raised sugar price by 34 sen a kilogramme. Presently the price stands at RM2.85 a kilogramme.
“The Barisan Nasional (BN) government had come up with all types of excuses to remove the balance of sugar subsidy of 34 sen, or RM521 million annually.
“But the reality is the rakyat have to ‘enjoy’ sugar at a pricier rate is because the government had signed a deal to import sugar at an exorbitant price,” Pua said in a statement.
He noted that the current world sugar price is 0.891 US cents (RM2.75) per pound but in 2012, Putrajaya revealed that it had inked a three-year deal to import sugar at US$26 per pound.
“Not only do the government not have to bear any subsidy, but sugar price would become much cheaper (if the deal was not inked),” Pua claimed.
At the current rate of global sugar price, taxpayers will have to pay an extra RM194 million a year due to the deal.
The DAP national publicity chief had in the past criticised the deal following its revelation in Parliament then, saying it would add to the government’s growing subsidy burden while maintaining the “duopoly” of Malaysia’s only two sugar producers, the purportedly well-connected Malaysian Sugar Manufacturing Bhd and Tradewinds Bhd.
Yesterday Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said sugar companies, including that of tycoon Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary, who is seen to have close ties with the ruling BN, are expected to rake in a profit of RM1 billion from Putrajaya’s move to cut sugar subsidy.
The opposition leader claimed the move, introduced by the Najib administration to trim down spending and tackle its fast-growing deficit, would strengthen the monopoly of the country’s two main players in the sugar industry by shooting their profit up by 100 per cent from before the cuts.
The gross profit of the sugar industry is RM4 billion annually. Normally, the profit before tax of these companies is around 9 per cent. After the entry of Tan Sri Mokhtar into the sector, the profit before tax jumped to 15 per cent.
“With the removal of subsidy, the profit before tax of the companies is expected to skyrocket between 20 to 25 per cent with the estimated returns of RM1 billion,” Anwar said in his speech on the 2014 Budget debate.
Pua said the Najib administration must bear the responsibility for a negligent decision that will hurt the average Malaysian.
“The government can no longer give all these lame excuses to justify the price hike… due to the deal, the people have to bear losses in the millions of ringgit. It must admit its mistake,” he said.

Satellite television company Astro will get less than 0.3% of the US$250 million (RM793 million) it had sought from Indonesia's Lippo group, ruled Singapore's Court of Appeal yesterday.
The three-judge panel made the ruling over a dispute involving a failed joint venture between Astro and Lippo in the satellite TV business in Indonesia.
According to a report by financial wire Bloomberg, the court ruled that Lippo Group’s two units PT First Media (KBLV) and PT Ayunda Prima Mitra only had to pay about US$700,000 (about RM2 million) to Astro.
Last year, a Singapore court upheld Astro’s arbitration award against Lippo, its former Indonesian partner, instructing Lippo to pay US$250 million.
The sum was awarded in February 2010 to Astro by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, following the fallout over the failed TV joint venture.
Eight Astro units sued three units of Lippo to enforce the arbitration award in Singapore.
According to Bloomberg, Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon, in his 119-page ruling, said that three of the Astro units had no arbitration agreement with First Media.
Astro Group is owned by billionaire Malaysian tycoon Ananda Krishnan while the Lippo Group is led by Indonesian tycoon James Riady. - November 2, 2013.

Gaji pegawai kanan JPM melampau, subsidi rakyat dipotong
“CEO Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat (SPAD) bergaji tahunan RM480,000 (sebulan RM40,000, elaun tahunan RM162,000, bonus RM60,000).
“Jawatan Pengurus Kanan pula bersamaan penjawat awam Gred 54 bergaji maksimum RM21,000 sebulan,” katanya.
Ong turut mendesak Najib menjimatkan wang rakyat dengan menghentikan kewujudan agensi baru Yayasan Hijau kerana fungsinya bertindih dengan agensi sedia ada seperti Pihak Berkuasa Pembangunan Tenaga Lestari Malaysia (SEDA) serta Pusat Inovasi dan Kreativiti Global Malaysia (MAGIC).

A racist Budget 2014
November 01, 2013
Zan Azlee
So it's been exactly one week since Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak tabled the National Budget 2014 in Parliament.
There I was, sitting in the newsroom listening to him speaking and enjoying the attention he was getting.
So, among the highlights would have to be the implementation of the goods and services tax (GST) in May 2014.
And at 6%, it is definitely higher than the 4% to 5% that everyone was expecting to be announced.
There is also the cut in subsidy for sugar. It's going to cost substantially more now so we won't be a diabetic nation.
But it is guaranteed that every other food product in the market will increase in price too.
There is also the increase in the income tax bracket and also the abolishment of filing tax returns.
So it really looks like Budget 2014 is trying very hard to address the country's fiscal deficit.
That's what everyone is focusing on and it's all good and well. But I think I'll choose to highlight something else.
If you notice, the Prime Minister announced all kinds of incentives for the Bumiputeras and the Indian community.
And guess what? Hardly any incentives were announced for the Chinese community. Actually, there was nothing.
In fact, the PM even said that he was thanking the Indian community for voting Barisan Nasional in the General Election.
So, by not giving any incentives to the Chinese, he was basically saying, serves you right for pulling that "tsunami" stunt.
Now, how well does that bode with the fact that the PM is supposed to be the PM of all Malaysians?
It seems that he's the PM for only those who voted for BN. That definitely does not bode well with what it's supposed to be.
This, to me, is blatant racism and discriminatory. Maybe the Prime Minister doesn't see it that way. He is after all the expert who coined 1Malaysia.
Some people may say that I'm just being negative and pessimistic instead of looking at the positive aspects of the budget.
Well, in my books, systematic, government discrimination is unethical and morally wrong. I guess the PM is probably reading a different book. - November 1, 2013.

They ask the Chinese and Indians to balik cina and india but welcome the bangladesh. The chinese and indians will spent their money and invest back into the country but the bangladesh will sent the money home.A lot of money will flow out because of the migrant workers, which numbers about 4 million.I am not against migrant workers but there should be more control and we must give priorities to locals to work in our own country.
