In many cases, the company funds will be depleted by continuous quarterly losses, asset acquisition at high price, settlement of debts, or even losses in investment in other penny stocks, etc.
In investment losses, it is not surprising to see them buying penny stocks at near peak prices. And look suspicious!!! Try figure it out...

Years ago, Vincent played up the BJcorp above RM1++ and many sardines were caught at very high price, since then the stock never recovered to its highest. He also bought in a certain fund to invest but many thought it was actually a game plan of a loan cum buy back of BJcorp shares.

Lucky if can play it up to RM1. That is only be attainable if the market is super good, flush and liquid.

wantanmi Yup!...BCorp got lots of hidden value but does VT even wants to share? Good example is the RM2B plus cash from sale of fskyoto & RM420M compensation from Jeju failed project. What happens to the money? Even if eventually BCorp becomes profitable, VT will just siphon off the cash by transferring his private companies like Singer or personal investment in 7Eleven etc. for more shares & ICULS to dilute shareholders value. That's why very hard to attract new institutional funds to invest.

At RM10 per share BJcorp is worth 53.7 billion. In paper it looks good, but in terms of income stream, how much can BJcorp generate per year? To support such a big capitalisation you need funds to buy in and funds wants good ROI and EPS. Jalil says BJTOTO gives good dividends and earnings but need to sell off the goose that kept giving good returns. Can sell BJtoto for 50% for RM4 bill, solve mostly debt problem. His focus is on food industry to make it a RM10 per share company. Just wonder if high level F & B and fine dining involving booze etc can be shariah compliance? So as EPF and others can buy? Incidently BJfoods already are involved in many fast foods chain but the market is not as big as to transform it to a RM10 per share company

Now trading price in controlled environment. Bit by bit price down so as not to panic the sardines, they won't feel to be .......

I citra is not the issue, EPF left Serbak because the directors cause the share price to collapse by trying to window dress their financial reports which the auditors cannot agree. EPF holdings here is less than 1% of their total investments.
