I’m not sure if anyone noticed but Awantec has a protracted legal case against the GOM ever since TunM took over and terminated the SKIN project citing the contract amount was too high

The previously named SKIN project has now evolved into NIIS which was recently awarded to Iris Corp

At the back of my mind, I was going “Hmm...” after Awantec secured 2 Govt projects in the past few months, most recently providing cloud services to the Govt

My point contact at Awantec informed me the ongoing legal case has nothing to do with the recent Govt-related awarded projects. He didn’t say what happened during TunM’s time and now under the current Govt but he did say a very important thing (paraphrased) :

“These are 2 separate matters and both parties are taking things professionally”

Hope you guy think about this

@Beast, the common sentiment is negative when a company do PP (or even regularly)

But cash-rich companies also do that due to their ambition, their business model and their respect to shareholders

I never give advice but only suggestion. Ignore quick profit takers. Awantec, back when they were named Prestariang, knows their biz. That’s why they got the SKIN project which was terminated by TunM when he took over

The Awantec guys know what their doing

I don’t know why some are worried

Check SCIB last earnings report (ended 30/9/20... 31/12/20 coming real soon)

Pay attention to CURRENT ASSETS

- Trades receivable
- contract assets
- CASH

Ignore the leverage (equity vs liabilities) coz Karim bought up a loss making company

If you are lazy to research, don’t invest. Or, worse, don’t trade

This morning's T/O will give us a clue. If no rebound, it means pure profit taking over the past few days with no interest in getting the bonus shares and free warrants
