My remisier (yes, I must hv one... I need one) has 30 years experience. I asked him what’s the LU for a new listing/IPO and he had to check :)

Fyi new listing/IPO, FIRST DAY of trading is 400% or 30cts (whichever higher) for limit up. Depends on IPO price but al ost certainly 400% applies. Limit down works the same way

I know some folks correlate this counter with other Karim counters. Serbadk depends on oil price movement and especially on Petronas. Kpower taking a breather, profit taking and split adjustment

Scib and Kpower price followed each other until Kpower retraced due to profit taking. Do not pay attention to Kpower vis-a-vis Scib. Just trust Scib, buy, get the free warrants and then either sell or trade your free warrants

I was unfamiliar with counter. I day/contra traded for nice profits. And then I bought for keeps. Will not sell. Will become like a shark now and buy more/average up more when closer and closer to end of this month

Do NOT miss the boat. This is a sure thing

Oversold since yesterday’s high due to profit taking. Sellers flushed out already. Very likely will go up next week.

And like I said before, why exercise your FREE warrant if you believe in SCIB? Mother price now 2.10 and my TP in 3 years’ time is north of RM4.00

But, gosh, hope I’m still alive in 3 years’ time! :)

Remember a few things :

1) Current mother share price vs warrant exercise price of 1.77
2) Exercising warrants = new shares will be issued
3) Total number of outstanding shares

These will affect price adjustment of mother share price when warrants are exercised

huatzai88, some typos in my post above re 30%. Bottom line tmrw HPPHB will be subjected to normal Bursa rules ie. it will be subjected to 30ct or 30% limit-up/limit-down rule since today close at 0.740

I dunno what brokerage you use. Whichever it is, check your brokerage software, you can see tmrw morning what is the limit up and limit down prices for any counter

Profit taking day today. Went up too many days. Tmrw will see rebound for sure

Just do some approximations yourself when it comes to decision by SCIB and their bankers for the warrant listing price

It will be based on 5 day VWAP. But dunno when SCIB and bankers make the decision

It’s still a no brainer to me

I bought more today when it dropped due to profit taking. Tmrw almost certain will rise at least 5-10% depending on news/anncmt/etc

Despite one of my earlier comment yest to wait until 9.30am today, I bought 125k @ 0.750 at 9.08am and quickly set sell order for 0.900 at 9.28am. Matched a bit later

huatzai88, after first say of trading post-IPO, the usual rules apply on 2nd day of trading ie 30% if closed above RM1 or 30% if closed below RM1 (this can change depending on the tight margin around RM1 eg closed at 0.995 and then next day will be different)

Today is 2nd day, normal limit up rule applies. Limit up is 1.01 based on yesterday’s 0.710 closing

Serba totally depends on oil price movement. I traded options on oil counters before when I traded the US market. Very volatile, very “cannot sleep at night” thing. Some more time difference. I gave up trading US options market some years ago

Well, just as well it didn’t hit limit up 400% today. I hope you guys know 400% is the limit up for fresh IPO

What happens between now and 3/2 is anyone’s guess

I prefer 2-3% climb everyday until ex date. There will likely be a buying frenzy the day before that tho as investors/traders adjust their portfolio. Just keep watching, be strong and, if you are ok, add a bit more

Btw check out the newly listed IPO today with the highest volume today (by a big distance). No counter name mentioned coz I don’t want to side track too much. I’m making a huge paper profit on that
