@robert waters Karoon gas field is for Armada Claire deployment JV with Subsea 7 and one more company. BA had already ceased it’s operation in Brazil though. BA will not tender for big projects due to its high gearing 2.73. only tender for ONGC and Karoon Gas, which they had already won ONGC FPSO. Karoon Gas Neon field is also confirmed win as they are the sole bidder.

However, the project is still under FID but expected to be awarded by 2019 .

@TAK1 not really favorable write in Armada. Profit taking is recommended. However, i prefer they have negative writing as the share price will always move in opposite directions.

when they buy back, the price will move and hold. but at times when they hold too much shares in their portfolio, then you can expect the price to retrace a bit.

@thequalityguy because of profit taking. if they hold too much shares, you will see sudden steep price drop when there's panic sell created. look at the day when armada drops 17%, EPF disposes almost 18mil shares.

@panda the concern is on the OMS utilisation that might kill off the quarter profit. currently 50% nia.

Actually upside is far more than downside which is still Kraken and OMS utilisation problems. Yinson is kinda different from Armada. They are backed actually by Old man’s son eventhough they had withdrawn last year from Yinson investment. I believe they are still behind Yinson in securing International projects due to the fianancial backups from them.

2020 will be reckoning year for FPSO business as it is at record high in term of planned awards especially from Petrobras and Armada is also eyeing some contracts from ENI at African oil fields.

There are 2 more FPSO that Armada is bidding for Petrobras. Hopefully they could secure it since Marlim 1 and 2 losses to Modec and Yinson. As of end of this year, if couldnt get into the price range, will need to invest in my boss other companies. Hahaha

In my opinion, at 0.40++, the risk is there...qr report has to be good with no hiccups on Kraken since OMS utilisation had dropped. Only 50% chartered.
Any small hiccup on Kraken will crash the price. 0.40 boleh take the chance la but above it, guts are not there
