Humbled, I dared not recommend you to buy Insas as the shark has been drawing a downtrend chart for Insas since Dec last year. A lot of investors had probably dumped this counter thinking that it was a downtrend stock. The shark is really very tricky!
With today's movement, hopefully Insas is on an uptrend now. Still got to wait and see.

Swingtrader, let's watch how it will perform tomorrow. Cheers!

Wow, PM Corp finally closed at 26 sen(but only 10,000 shares done at 26 sen, deliberately propped up by the shark)today.
Incidentally, my 2 laggards started to move at the same time today. Insas is up 7 sen today, after breaking its immediate resistance at 86.5 sen. This is probably the first time it moves more than Inari or its warrant, signalling more of shark's intention to move higher.
Both are expected to deliver good 4th quarter's results this week or next.
Ha! Ha! Trade at your own risks.

AyamTua, chartwise, PM Cap is on an obvious downtrend. No good to hold.
2014-02-19 13:07 | Report Abuse
AyamTua, PM Cap is a loss making subsidiary. 4th quarter's result just announced incurred heavy losses. You must swing your trade fast. It could be the shark making use of this opportunity to offload its shares too. Just beware.
2014-02-19 12:49 | Report Abuse
AyamTua, sharks usually work in collaboration. Once a counter is up, its associated companies/subsidiaries tend to move in the same direction.

Hi, iWarrants, when a counter has a much higher NTA than its current market price, a good strategy is always to slowly accumulate when others are busy selling(with no bad news).
At 23.5 sen, it was a good buy. But now, it is your own call.
Ha! Ha! Trade at own risks.
2014-02-19 10:27 | Report Abuse
There seems to be some sellers at 25.5 sen. That is why shark has to retreat to 24.5/25 sen.

Hepitrade, got to see market's response. Whether there is follow-through buying by retailers.

Hepitrade, luckily you have listened to my advice to hold until the release of the 4th quarter's result. Otherwise, you could be crying without tears now.

Guys, as I said, every dog has its day. Now, PM Corp starts to move, defying Mike's ridicule that it does not move at all.

Swingtrader, welcome onboard. Hope we do not buy over too much of shark's load of scrips. Otherwise, there is little incentive for the shark to push higher to offload later.

It's interesting to observe Green Packet warrant. It is up 0.5 sen at 13.5 sen, while its mother share drops 1.5 sen to 47.5 sen.
A lot of punters who punt on this warrant may not know that it's nearing expiry in Sept this year. And the exercise price is 95 sen.
By the time the play is gone, they could be carrying some worthless scrips. Do not play play!

Humbled, I will observe a few more days before taking any action.
2014-02-18 21:38 | Report Abuse
Zu1967, PM Corp did not shoot up recently, of course it should not drop. Only those counters that were chased sky-high recently are at risk of a correction, directed by the sharks in an Oscar-award movie, entitled "Pump and Dump".

Humbled, I went out the whole day and just came back. PM Corp is still holding solidly at 23.5 sen.
My earlier warning came timely. I saw some counters like MNC and other penny stocks came under tremendous selling pressure. Thought I can buy PM Corp cheap tomorrow...but no way...it is still at 23.5 sen.
Ha! Ha! Trade at our own risks.

Humbled, if you are thinking of buying any counter now, you must have a trade plan. Risk of a pullback has risen substantially.
Either you must have a cut-loss point or be prepared to hold it over a longer period.
Just my advice.

Zu1967, just curious. Care to share how many lots you bought roughly? Cos' today's PM Corp's volume traded is high.
2014-02-17 17:53 | Report Abuse
Zu1967, I still have some shares bought at 26 sen. I want to catch a lower price to make my cost averaging more meaningful. At 23.5 sen, the cost difference is not much. Anyway, I will see how things develop in the next few days.

Wow, today's total volume traded is 35,048,205 lots(almost 1.5 times the daily average volume, could be a record too?).

Humbled, you are active keeping this thread alive this morning. Good effort!
One important observation: Friday's volume was only 136,000 shares done between 23.5 and 24 sen. Today(just this morning alone), volume is already 687,100 shares done only at 23.5 sen. Why did the volume swell suddenly? No bad news.
2 possibilities:
1. Shark created own trades to lure more selling;
2. There could be some more sellers(to sell this counter in exchange for other counters bought) in the morning.
Which is which? It is your call. The good news so far is it is still kept at the low of 23.5 sen.

Zu1967, penny stocks market is getting too hot these days. Beware!
2014-02-16 22:40 | Report Abuse
Zu1967, I remember a few years back, I was trading Green Packet warrant when it was first listed. It went up almost non-stop everyday to 90+ sen(if I remember correctly) from 20+ sen(I think). And now, even the mother share is just trading at 46 sen(on speculation).
What does it tell us? This counter is too speculative and a lot more players(with heavy losses) are stuck in this counter than in PM Corp.
2014-02-16 22:26 | Report Abuse
Zu1967, I missed your postings after you had sold your PM Corp.
Guys, I am not a PM Corp expert. Calvin is. I just like to analyse shark's behaviour and trade accordingly. Should things turn out against my prediction, I could still rely on $ cost averaging to bring down my holding cost.
Based on my assessment, shark had the intention to push PM Corp up on 10 & 11 Feb(in line with the then bullish penny stocks market). But when it reached 25 sen, too much premature selling by some of our forumers scared the shark off and made the shark put on a defensive stand to collect instead.
So, the shark might do another upswing attempt after the selling is over and/or perhaps by harnessing on the 4th quarter's result if it is good.
Looking at Green Packet, a loss-making company with a NTA per share of only 13 sen as at 3rd quarter 2013. It could be trading frantically at 46 sen per share last Fri, just on 'rumoured' speculation of a sale of its subsidiary, P1. This being the case, it is equally possible for the shark to move PM Corp above 30 sen when it starts(or is rumoured) to sell another valuable asset.
Just my views only. Not a buy or sell call.

Hepitrade, I do not have a crystal ball. I do not want to give you false hope. You have to use your own judgement. My advice to you is to hold on to your shares till the release of the 4th quarter result(another 2 weeks) before you decide on the next move.

Currently, the key support for GOLD is at around US $1,180 level an ounce. Incidentally, this coincides with the average production cost of US1,200 per ounce for the miners.
A lot of analysts predicted around end of last year that GOLD would drop to US $1,000 level this year. But I think this could take a longer while to come through, probably when US starts to hike its interest rate in 2015 or later.
Just my views only. Not a buy or sell call.
2014-02-15 10:04 | Report Abuse
Calvin,
So, you have made good money from GOLD. You are one of the smarter investors.
Market behaviour is such that when majority of ordinary investors turn extra bearish, that is the time when smart money positions for a rebound. Likewise, when market becomes exceptionally bullish, the smart money will sell out first.
Those who continuously do short-term trades will never reap the full benefits of a price upswing.
2014-02-15 09:32 | Report Abuse
Gold has hit US $1318 an ounce in US overnight trading. Last year, it had the biggest drop in years due to huge amounts of aggressive selling and shorting.
This year, it defies our imagination to go higher in the face of US's QE tapering. Now, some analysts have turned bullish on Gold in the short term.
See how investors' perception can be easily swayed. Hedge funds are really well-positioned for this upside.
This is not a buy call as it is probably too late to get in now. The smarter ones(like hedge funds) are the ones who buy and hold before the surge up.

Hi, AyamTua, shark may need some catalyst to push PM Corp above 30 sen, eg like revaluation of assets, etc.
But shark can easily push it to above 25 sen. So, I feel that it is not wise to sell it at current depressed prices.

Selling(based on postings by our forumers) was well absorbed between 23.5 to 25 sen. It seems to me that someone(most likely the shark) has been quietly collecting our abandoned shares.
Even with the selling volume, the buyer does not let it drop below 23.5 sen. Maybe, it does not want Humbled or myself to collect at a lower price.
Statistics(if reliable) gives a whole new dimension to our trading. Trade at your own risks.

Humbled, chartwise, RCE Cap has been traded within a tight range(27.5 to 29 sen)for the past 1 month or so. Sideways movement. Once in a long while, the shark may play it for a day or 2, you must know this is the best time to get out. This is the pattern of trades for the time being, until a new factor to warrant a different play.
Share-buyback by the company is very common for this counter.
Just my views only. Calvin may be able to advise you on other details.
