We need to open our eyes wider. The market is not as simple as we think.

Do not just focus our attention at one counter. We must analyse this counter's performance in relation to the whole market.

Like that, we will have a more balanced view.

Look at Tiger Synergy. The way the sharks push down the price is really scary! It has been down a few days already and there is forced selling expected these few days.

We should be glad that this is not happening to PM Corp!

US market was up last Friday. Moreover, there is good news coming from the collection of rentals over-payment.

We have seen and verified from past few days trades that there were not many genuine sellers in this counter. Volumes traded were pathetic.

So, how could so many shares(240,800 shares, more than half of last Friday's volume)be traded so early in the morning? So, I suspect these are volumes churned out from sharks to attract selling. They just wanted to collect cheap.

Frankly, the whole penny stocks market is weak. Penny stocks leaders like Sumatec, Tiger, etc are hammered down. It is natural that PM Corp is down. This is called 'drifting along with the main market trend'. The market should turn better next month.

I can exit this counter easily. I can wait for a good price to sell next month.

Much will depend on whether there are any follow-through buying by the retail players, when they are pushed up. After all, big boys also want to make profits.

Big boys will be back early January. They will usually come in to play the penny stocks as in past years.

PM Corp can ride on this mass rally as well. But it may not last more than 3 weeks.

Have you checked the facts?

The new low will only be created if it is done below 23 sen. There were at least 4 days in the more recent past where the low was 23 sen and 1 day where it was closed at 23 sen.

Moreover, only 200 shares(excluding 53,000 other shares done at other times)were traded at 23 sen during matching time, where there were still 261,400 shares queuing to buy at 23 sen and the volume traded for the day was only 338,000 shares(slightly more than the queue at 23 sen).

You again. Stock market prices are determined by supply and demand. There are only 2 ways to move up a counter.

1. To buy up the counter, if you are a big shark;

2. To have a large group of faithful followers. When you call a buy, your followers follow you and the price goes up when demand increase. Likewise, when you call a sell, prices drop when more people sell.

Which type of sharks do you belong? Hopefully, you are not the type of sharks that Zu1967 mentioned - say one thing and mean the other.

I did a preliminary analysis. Here are my views:
1. I think the 300 lots of trades were done deliberately to attract selling at 23.5 sen. It was completed at 11.38 am. If there is serious selling down, why is it that no trades were done from 11.38 am to 12.30pm? And there is still some shares queuing at 23.5 sen to buy. Why???

2. Who would be selling 300 lots at 1 go? Big boy? Then why is it that there is no more selling after that? So, it appears to me that sharks are waiting for people to give direct to buyers at 23.5 sen.

3. Of course, sharks are sharks after all. They could push it down to 23.0/23.5 sen, to scare us further.

PMCorp is holding steady at 0.24. There was no trading at all for the first one and a half hours today. If the stock is loosing strength, we would have already seen a drastic price drop not just a miserable half a sen drop. Notice that there was huge trading of 3 x 100,000 shares @0.235 within a period of 10 minutes.

Few observations(after market close):
1. Most of the trading were done at 23.5 sen. Only 3,600 shares were done at 23 sen.

2. Counter closed at 24 sen(done probably by sharks). It did not close negative, where most favourite counters like Inari Amertron, Insas and many others closed either negative or near the day lows. Ask yourself. Why?

3. 99.6% of the trades today were done at 23.5 sen. Were there so many buyers and sellers at this price?

There are some short-term investors who buy PM Corp on the prospect of cash pay-out by end of the month.

So, for this group of investors, they may be disappointed if no pay-out and start selling. I am suggesting that they can do it at a better timing.

Of course, QE tapering or withdrawal may affect the counters that have run up more aggressively in prices than the laggards(like PM Corp).

There is only a 50% chance that Fed will taper this month. Most predict either January or March next year.

If there is no tapering this month, it will create a perfect timing for a pre-Chinese Year rally early next month.

Why? Sharks also need to find an excuse to sell their holdings. What better timing to do it than to ride on the positive mood of no tapering and January effect?

So, for the short-term investors, you can catch a better selling price when sharks play up the shares with volumes, than to sell now(when prices are depressed).

There is always a silver lining in every cloud. Be prepared.
