Based on today's announcement on the proposals. At the next AGM, I am going to vote as follows:
1) Against. Here major shareholder cannot vote. I think better to do biz with third party rather than internal party. So transaction will be more at arms length.
2) For. Looks like share buyback will start again after the AGM.
3) Against. If got any opportunity can always call for EGM. Better not give BOD free hand.

CEO say DPR below 50% going forward. So if in FY2017, no profit, means no dividend in 2017. Dividend funds will continue to sell. Those thinking of buying, better be careful. Funds might buy to 'show' stock has bottom out, than when buyers line up, they will dump. Happened a few times today and yesterday. Just be careful.

February almost finish, March not to far away. When report next Qtr in May, will also show big loss.....I go play other place first.

Got people say FLB not good, as compared to 2015 profit reduced. Keep in mind, 2015 was an extra-ordinary year. So now we are in 2017, analyst (who only look at numbers) will compare to 2016. I think 1st Quarter 2017 results will show improvement in top and bottom line compared to Qtr 1 2016. Than analyst will say, FLB under value, excellent growth and other bs. I happy to see share price dropping, opportunity to collect. I am now waiting for RSI to drop to oversold position before I collect. So please, sell, sell, sell. Just a reminder, today is Friday, sell day....Hahaha

I think no div this quarter. This FY already gave interim div 0.06 (and special 0.35). Expect 0.06 per FY. I think have to wait for next quarter for the dividend.

Agree with Diamond7 Need to increase total number of shares. This will make it attractive to funds. Otherwise, tksw sifu alone will keep buying 100 units until become major shareholder....Hehehe

Agreed, slow and steady the way to go. But I would have like to see it close above 1.74 with higher volume....given the good quarterly results. Makes me worry about the US introducing border tax.

Also like bank, put money in FD than wait for maturity to get dividend. They just paid in January, now you want them to pay another one. Maybe management is good, can get better returns. Than year end declare dividend and in Dec or Jan 2018 pay you dividend. Your job is to estimate the yield, than see good yield or not, with prospect for capital appreciation.

Why everybody keep asking about dividend? They normally give year end. You know how expensive to give dividends. Have to pay bank fees, have to mail statements, profesional service fees etc. With so many shareholders, I think will cost in the thousands.

Let say EPS high because of previous quarter shipment report in this quarter. So we discount a bit and say EPS is 6 cents. They also say with new machine, can get more sales and better pricing going forward. So going forward, next 12 months EPS will be minimum 24 cents,but with Trumponomics, strong USD etc. Can repeat 8 cents per quarter or 32 cents a year. Apply your own multiplier and they you get your future share price. Worst case scenario RM1.96. Best case scenario RM3.20. My calculation say fair value going forward is RM2.56.

I don't think there will be a dividend, FLBHD normally announce dividend at the end of the year. They just did one in Dec '16.

FLBHD started trending downwards after the First Quarter '16 results was announced, where it gapped down on the next trading day. The result was not as good as previous quarterly results. In fact, it was one of the worst quarterly performance in 3 years. Last quarter (3rd Quarter '16), was even worst, given the delay in shipment. The stock gapped down again, this was the bottom and has been trending upwards since. One sifu teach me, never fight the trend, trend is your friend.

I expect this quarter results to be good. Given the previous missed shipment will be reported in this quarter. Additionally, the rise in price of plywood and favorable exchange rate. In the last 5 years, Sept, Oct, Nov & Dec 2016 had one of the highest plywood prices in terms of RM. Only drawback is hardwood, the raw material prices, has also been on the higher side. Can refer to chart and observation shared by Skliew on 17th Feb. With this I expect the net profit margins will still be in the high single digit % and will not be as good as in 2015.

Moving forward, they are buying new machinery that is able to cut plywood in different sizes, this will enable them to increase their sales into the US and capture new market.

FLBHD has an history of sharing it's profit with share-holders and consistently giving good dividends. With the prospect of increasing sales with new machinery, favorable exchange rates, improvement in it's main market with Trumponics; I see this as a mid to long term growth stock. One of those stocks where you can buy, forget about it and sleep peacefully at night. After some time, it would have given you good returns in terms of rise in share price and dividends. Point to note, dividend yields has been higher than bank FD rates.

The biggest risk I see is Trump putting high import duties for imported items in order to boost local US production. I do not see it happening very soon as it will take time for proper implementation and to ensure sufficient supply without disrupting the local US industries.

Before buying or selling please do your own research. I own FLBHD and would like to see the share price go up higher. :)

With Trumponomics and new machinery, the future looks good too. My TP is RM2.56.

I am still positive on HEXZA. My target price is RM1.20 before year end. Yes, ethanol biz down, this is due to new excise tariff. This is just a bump in the road. Once things stabilize, manufacturers adjust their business, revenue/biz will start to go back up. No one going to shut down the factory because of the tariff hike. Maybe not immediately back to earlier levels, but higher than current reported quarter and improve over time.

Finance lease business very profitable. This is the reason I am back into HEXZA, see my comments on Jan 15th. Yes, low revenue % to total business but high % profit to total business. I prefer profits compared to revenue. No point high revenue but no profit.

Will continue to see FOREX gain as US expected to increase interest rate. As for increase in raw material prices, it effects everyone in the industry. They will be able to pass some of the cost increase to their customers as the whole industry cannot sell at a loss or low margins.

Other positives, high net cash/cash equal. Good dividends. Low P/E. Positive Cash Flow. All the ratios look very good.

Maybe people excited the egg going to hatch. So many buy. Than realise false alarm, maybe hatch next week and sell first. Now have to wait till actually hatch.

Isn't the finance lease an on-going biz, with the sell & lease back of power gen? Why discount this? Couldn't this could be a new core profitable biz? Forex gain will continue in the next few quarters, so I will not discount this. Biz is about making money and they are doing a good job. No?

Ok, it is about RM256 million. Axiata share of the loss is about RM51 million.
